Is This Nissan Rogue Deal a Genius Loophole or a Future Headache?

Found a weird 2026 Nissan Rogue Rock Creek AWD deal and wanted opinions.

Vehicle has only ~50 miles and dealer is selling it for $28,999 even though MSRP/window sticker is around $36.6k.

Dealer explained that their owner also owns a Nissan dealership, and they internally titled the vehicle to hit Nissan volume incentives. So technically it’s “used/pre-owned,” but according to them no retail customer has ever owned it.

They also said:
- still has factory warranty remaining
- Nissan certified
- basically brand new condition

Because it’s technically already titled, I can’t get Nissan’s 0% APR offer.

Main questions:

  1. What would I actually MISS compared to buying a truly brand new Nissan?
  2. Would resale value later be affected because it already has a titled owner?
  3. I keep hearing about Nissan Security+Plus Gold / premium extended warranties (some people mention up to 8 years / 120k miles). Are those worth getting on newer Rogues, and can those usually be added later after purchase or only during purchase?

Trying to understand if this is genuinely a smart loophole deal or if there’s some catch I’m missing.
