Was descending into DCA today and heard Potomac app calling one of our company planes on guard. Thing is, he had a loud aural alert in the background that I haven’t heard, it sounded almost like a siren, perhaps a two tone alert? He sounded pretty urgent. It wasn’t like the typical fast beeping (CA?) that we hear. Just curious as to what it might have been.
I'm building a set of built ins with a face frame style like this example, where the edge of the shelves are flush to the inside edge of the face frame. I'm working out in my plans how to best accomplish this, I will be using 3/4 plywood for the cabinet boxes and 1/2 for the backs. I figure I will do two walls separated by spacer blocks for the face frame, does the inner wall also need to be 3/4 inch? I figure it must since it will be supporting the shelves. Am I going about it the right way to accomplish this flush look?
