Alphaspeed Tune

Hello.

I have been driving with an alphaspeed tune for a couple months now and loved it. I recently installed an o2 housing, and since I opted to not turn off the o2 sensor cel the first time, I now have a check engine light. While I do understand that this is normal. I was advised that I can still drive the car with full boost regardless of the cel. The reason they mentioned for this is that when I got the canned tune the first time they adjusted the afr to compensate for having an aftermarket o2 housing or not having one. They further mentioned that the retune I would get would just turn off the cel and they wouldn’t be changing the afr etc (I also had a downpipe and test pipe installed after). This does not make too much sense to me and was wondering if someone can help explain.

Dream Genny Build

Update on the genesis. Fit some aftermarket tails and a body kit on. It’s looking better than imagined.

2014 2.0T Rspec For Sale in NJ

Selling my 2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T. Clean title + estimating when it sells it will be at 73k miles. This car was not owned by a teenager. It has been METICULOUSLY taken care of. Oil changes every 3,000 miles. Recently resealed the diff and put in new tie rods. I love this car and it has been an absolute dream to drive and build. The opportunity arises to buy a car I never thought I could own and this is why I’m putting it up (especially with coils just being installed). Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4s installed are basically brand new. In my eyes this is everything you could want in this car without compromising reliability.

LightExcel

Hey does anyone know if LightExcel is still an active business? I’ve ordered eagle eye taillights for my coupe but since checking their social media, it seems that they were last active in 2025.

O2 Housing Retune?

Hi. I got my car tuned about a month prior by Alphaspeed (canned go tune). I since realized - I should probably do the o2 housing. Do I need to get retuned to make sure I am accounting for the extra flow or will it be okay.

Wanted to see if this is just a my car thing or other people have experienced this. The lenses on the gauge pod are heavily scratched up. I was wondering if anyone had a good fix for it or any suggestions to help get them looking nice again.
