It’s been in storage a few years and this is how I found it. I believe there’s no internal battery on any of the black Apple TV models so I don’t understand what this crust could be. Any ideas?

I live along the busiest road in my city and this is what the Uni Uni drivers do. I won’t support a company that goes with the lowest quality shipping carrier on the market. The last one was left on top of my mailbox right along the road. I’m done.
