What was the only way Japan could survive after the break out of 1937 Sino Japanese war?
It is known that they pretty much signed their death warrant by trapping themselves in the war since they wouldnt have enough industry and manpower for the war of attrition, then it expanded into pacific war and it marked the total quicker decimation of the empire, but what could save them if the war really had to start in 1937? Offering peace after the fall of Shanghai? or even before?
