Currently I am in my second year in community college. My first year was a “I‘m Just Happy to be Here” Still doing well in all my classes , but definitely getting irritated on a few things.

1. Discussion Boards- STOP! Every week I have to write a paragraph about a topic and then respond to a classmate. Now I have to interact with these kids. I have to wait for them to post on the board. Nobody does the assignment until 30 minutes until it’s due at midnight. My grade depending on these kids is lame.

2. Tutoring Center- At my college there’s a tutoring center to help students with their school work. Cool beans, So what are the qualifications to be a tutor? To have good grades…… that’s it. My Professors are telling me if I go there I’ll get extra credit. I go and the tutors don’t know shit. They just read what’s on Google. I have good grades! I can’t tutor anybody.

3. “A Workshop Day” I go to class to do homework for said class. If you aren’t going to teach me anything today just don't have class. I can do my assignments at home.

I haven’t had much time to watch tv the first half of the year . I haven’t followed what are big shows of 2026. Tell me a drama, thriller or horror show that came in 2026. I also like documentaries so if you can recommend a good watch every night.

I usually go out to places by myself because my friends are either busy or don’t want to spend the money. When I am out alone I keep my head down and to myself. I don’t want to creep strangers out by looking at them. I’ve been doing this for well over a decade. Nobody has ever came up to me just to chat. Never made a friend by going out alone. Well apparently that’s not what you’re suppose to do. Smiling and give solid eye contact makes you seem friendly. I always wondered how others just become friends with total strangers

I am 32 year old man gosh darn it. Got a decent job, own place , take care of my own responsibilities. Here I am thinking Im a mature adult. Wrong! I had to do a class presentation that was worth a lot of points for my grade. Leading up to the day of the presentation I didn’t even think about it. Easy peasy , I am in class and the presentations are happening and here I am shaking like my 15 year old self. I get up there sweating and barley looked at the students. I haven’t felt that way in 13 years.
