Looking for someone to crochet an Elvis hair hat for a child 2T-4T. I found a pattern I can purchase online (see pic) or I’m open to any other suggestions.

Found this pretty opal ring from an antique store costume jewelry tray for $12. Then saw it had 18KT marking on the inside once I got home.
Saw this ring and it was one of few that fit my fingers. Thought it was pretty so I bought it for $12 thinking it was just costume jewelry. Tried to clean it a bit at home and noticed an 18kt marking near the area where it was resized. Maybe that’s why they didn’t notice it. It weight 4.5gr. What can you guys tell me about it? Is it from the 1950-60s? Does the opal look real?
