I have not moved in yet but he said when it comes to tax filing season he mentioned not to use the address that I will be staying at (his basement rental unit) because he is going to move away to a different country soon and his accountant told him to tell me not to use the address, for tax purposes.

Will ​that affect me in any way?

edit texted him telling him I'm not comfortable with what he's asking me to do. he said that should be fine but that he will check with said accountant and will get back to me

update: We spoke on the phone and he said" his accountant" said that there is no implications at all but if i want to use it then he won't be moving forward with my application 😂 we didn't move forward lmfao
