Okay, I’m genuinely very frustrated with all our photographer/videographer Bhaiyas and Didis, especially here at the women’s college. You want to record a nice, aesthetic video? Go ahead, but why shove your cameras into someone’s face? We don't know about consent in the big 2026? I, too, like recording random videos, but I’m very cautious about not doing so at the expense of someone else’s privacy. Every single day, I fear ending up in someone’s vlog, and this is particularly frustrating because I wear Niqāb. People seem to take that as a sign that they don’t need to care about my consent. I’m still a human being behind that Niqāb, and we care about our privacy just as much. “But my Ḥijabī friend posts herself.” What you or your friends choose to do is none of my concern. Me covering my face does not give you the right to not even ask me before recording a video. This has happened so many times that I’m genuinely on the verge of crashing out.
Smh. Privacy is literally one of the reasons why some of us choose a women’s college, only to end up in someone’s “a day in my life” vlog, and they won’t even delete it when asked.

So I passed out from JMI last year, and this year I'm taking admission in AMU, and department from JMI is not issuing me a character certificate because they said that it's been a year since i passed out so they can't do it anymore. Can someone confirm is that a general rule or something?
Is there any alternative to this? Please help me, I'd be really thankful y'all. AMU is asking for Character Certificate which JMI ain't giving me. I'm very stressed.
Could anyone please tell me how I am supposed to submit the anti-ragging undertaking? AMU has provided a proforma, so I just sign it and get it signed by my parents and submit it at the time of Physical Verification, right?
I'm confused because at the bottom of the Proforma it says, “Attestation of the above signature by the City/Distt. Magistrate/ADM.”
What does it mean? Do I have to get it signed by the District Magistrate too? If anyone has submitted this undertaking before, please tell me how you did it step by step. I'm on the verge of going mad.

A close one has already done their Bachelor's and Master's from another college in 2025, now they're planning to do a Bachelor's in Psychology from AMU, could anyone please tell me exactly what documents would be required at the time of document submission?
