Question about shared room accommodations in Village
I've been allotted one of the shared room accommodations in Village 1 for September 2026 intake. Honestly, I'm not complaining because I'm NOT risking it in this rental market and I'm used to living in shared accommodations.
Just had a few questions for anyone who's lived in these rooms:
How many people would be sharing a kitchen? I understand these rooms were originally meant for single occupancy but does that mean you have to share the kitchen with double the amount of people (which I'm guessing could be up to 14 🤔)
Do we get to know who we will be sharing the room with? I would prefer to share a room with someone of the same gender at least, are there any provisions around this?
My lease is for 8 months - is there any possibility for extending it for the entire year?
Would be grateful to know anything about this!
