Never thought I'd feel this way...
Never thought I’d feel this way, but after being into Honda since the late 90s/early 2000s, I think I’m finally ready to move on from the Honda game. I’m in my mid 40s now, have a kid (who has zero interest in cars), have been dealing with some medical stuff, and between work and everything else going on in life, I just can’t seem to find the time or motivation anymore. I’ve spent so many years buying parts, building cars, wrenching on them, and always having some kind of project going, but now I look at the couple project cars I still have and realize they’re mostly just sitting there waiting for me to get interested again. It’s weird because Honda and the whole scene have been such a big part of my life for over 20 years. I was huge into car clubs and the forums in the 2000s and made some great friends in the community, but I’m honestly starting to feel like it’s time to sell them and close that chapter. All of my friends never want to hit the track anymore or have sold their projects off. Track days are cool, but I'm honestly just bored without the crew there.
Anyone else who’s been in the Honda game for a long time hit this point? Did you regret getting out, or was it actually a relief to finally move on?
