What are your thoughts on the hardrace hardened bushings? Are they worth the money?
And are there any more companies making these types of bushings kits (not polyurethane) since they are pretty hard to come by where I live?
So looking to add interior upgrade to make it look nicer, right now it’s grey and wanted to know what I should do to help. If I should change the color of the interior first or what colors would work well with grey?
Back in the day, we had NOPI. Doesn’t look like they’re in the business of supplying performance parts any longer. Im looking for sources for performance and OE parts. I recently acquired a 98 Civic EX and am looking to spec it for autocross. Who’s the best source these days aside from Autozone. Thanks in advance.
So I wanted to keep this one to myself till they were done but wanted to show progression for my fans, friends and followers. The Billet DC2/ EG front knuckles are in Machining. Almost done for the first official fit test and function performance. These knuckles feature 1.5" LCA roll center correction and upper ball joint 1.5" Drop for geometry correction. Made from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum these Knuckles allow a stronger design, with more capability and corrected geometry for racing with better surface area for bonded strain gauge placement. 40% the weight of OEM they are 10 times stronger than the OEM design with all the attributes of Aerospace build into the design.

I am making a 10 assemblies. Currently, the first one will be used on my 1996 JDM right hand drive Integra type R. I, am k swapping my vehicle and, I will be using these with karceps wheel hubs and centric wheel bearings. I would like to try ceramic wheel bearings. Just to see what the difference is in rolling performance. But they are designed to use press in wheel bearings just like oem, and I will run them with HARD RACE lower ball joints. I guess that is a good question to ask also, do you guys know of a company that makes a good spherical lower ball joint that is adjustable, or is there even such a thing?

Will be making 10 sets of them and 2 sets are spoken for at the moment. The idea is to make these first 10 a pre-production release and show the capability of the design with endurance racers on the track and street. The smallest wheel that can be run is a 15" because of the use of the 1.5" Lowered ball joint with clearance to the wheels inner barrel. Can work with most of the current wheel offsets. Im running 17x9 +20 on my set with a 4x114.3 wheel lug and hub pattern on a Wilwood 6 Piston front Caliper and 12.2" front rotor. The Karcepts 4340 Wheel Hubs with Centric Ceramic Wheel bearings will provide a lovely feel for the road and loads of power support. I will also later use a similar configuration for my 95 GS-R 4x100 on OEM ITR 5x114.3 Rotor and Hub configuration with Endless Rotors and pads. Praying for the best fitment as the design has shown in visualization and engineering design.
Hi!
Ive got some questions about the swap cause I have Some problems with it.
Some info:
I have a 1991 ed (ef) Civic and it used to be a obd0 dpfi d15b2. I wanted to do a b20 swap and i am going to but I want to do that one proper so it Will take Some time, then my d15b2 gave up on me (its got 350K KM on the dash so its okay) but then a friend of mine said he had a d16z5 engine Ecu etc to do the swap for now sinds its quite similar to b20 engine Harness. Enough story telling here are my questions.
I am doing the swap with p07 ecu(obd1) obd2 inectors high impendance and obd1 distributor. I Also have the d16z5 engine harness. Now here is where the problem this has an extra connector on the passenger side. Next to the big round connector and rectangle. And that small 6 pin,6 wire, connector i still have to connect because that has the distributor signals. My question is where do i wire the signals to on my ecu?
I really want it to drive again so any info is appreciated ! 🙏
Thanks!!!!
I bought it a few weeks ago and it costs 350€ it has 330.000km and it has a few things to do but it's a good base to a future project
I’m rebuilding my Honda H22A4. As you can see, its sleeved, so the walls are a different material than the original FRM coating.
I was wondering if I could use oem/oem replacement pistons with different rings.
Forged pistons are also an option, but can I run them without a tune? I’m also worried about expansion size.
Just aiming for stock power numbers, and I have to stay untuned to keep ATTS, any advice helps!
Check out my previous posts for context but after many late nights and too much money my element has been saved. Totally rebuilt top end and MLS headgasket with fresh fluid all around. I have officially reached 100miles on the fresh rebuild and i wanted to share with you guys again.
Please wish me luck i do not want this car to unalive itself again.
Last couple pictures are from before and it no longer has a cel.
Next is exhaust (mine is cobbled together from previous owner) brakes and some fun offroad lights. Thinking about wrapping it now because im way to deep in the car already so i might as well go all out.
post some pics if you got em! can’t decide wether bumper or trunk
Trying to put the knuckle back on the ball joint, but I can’t get the control arms to go high enough. When I jack up on the end of the control arm it starts to lift the car after a certain height but I still need to go a few inches higher. Do I need to remove the sway bar to make the control arms less stiff? Any suggestions welcome
Hello everyone,
I recently found out that I need to replace my exhaust manifold (part #18000-PND-000), but I’ve also learned that Honda has discontinued it.
I’ve called several junkyards without any luck, and the shop I took my car to said that if I can’t find the part, I should probably start looking for another car. This is my first car, and it means a lot to me, so I’m really hoping I don’t have to give up on it.
I’m not very car-savvy, so I’m feeling pretty lost. I found an aftermarket exhaust manifold on Parts Geek, but I have no idea if it’s a reputable site or whether the part will actually fit my car.
Someone also suggested just “straight piping” it, but I don’t really know what that means or whether it’s a good idea.
Has anyone dealt with this before or have any advice on what my best options are? I’d really appreciate any guidance, recommendations, or experience you can share. Thank you!
I have a noise that's pretty noticeable above 6000 rpm coming from the transmission. It's best described as a rapid rattle almost like a geiger counter. It's only present in 1st and 2nd and when it's making this noise I have to shift slowly or it will grind into gear. The sound goes away if I very firmly grab the shifter to prevent it from shaking. The shifter linkege felt okay although I'm not sure and the transmission is full of fluid. I don't know if my transmission is just going out considering the car has 300k on it or if it's something else.
My D16Y8 just blew up, so I’m thinking this might be the perfect time to finally K-swap my EK. I currently have a K24A4 and I’m trying to figure out everything I’ll need to swap it into my 1999 Civic.
The car is currently automatic, but I want the K-swap to be manual, so I’m also trying to figure out everything extra I’ll need for the auto-to-manual conversion.
I’m looking for a complete parts list and advice from people who have actually done this swap before. So far, I know I’ll probably need mounts, wiring, ECU, transmission, axles, shifter setup, fuel setup, exhaust/header, cooling parts, and manual conversion parts, but I’m not sure exactly what parts are best or what fits the EK chassis.
A few specific questions:
What parts should I buy for a K24A4 EK swap?
What parts should I avoid?
What manual transmission works best for this setup?
What extra parts are needed since my EK is currently automatic?
Are there any common issues with using the K24A4 specifically?
Are there any budget-friendly options that are still reliable?
Any help, parts lists, budget tips, or build threads would be appreciated.
A little bit of camber since it’s lowered havnt put in arms yet
To bring autism awareness to everyone; and to honor my son’s lifelong fight with autism. Decided to paint my spare hood and fenders in “spectrum” paint. It’s definitely not everyone’s taste, but I like it.
Hey everyone. I recently got a CRX and I was wondering if anyone here has the same engine or know which engine mounts I’m able to purchase? They’re current really bad and I’m in the process of almost getting it road ready but want to change these before I fully take it out the garage. Can anyone point me into the right direction? Thanks in advance.
