Mexicola - Dabble

Opening the jar, there was little to none aroma coming out of the jar. Putting your nose closer, first initial smell reminds me of a herbal cola drink. You get a juicy/syrupy overripe mango/tropical fruit with a sharp citrus on the back end. If you do a deep inhale, you get a whiff of a sweet cream baked goods smell. Consistency was jammy, it reminds me of an over medium egg yolk. From nose to taste, you get a sweet pineapple citrus candy on the inhale. While on the exhale you get a creamy spice with a hint of that “cola” taste. You do also get that “cola” taste on the inhale it just shines more on the exhale. The aftertaste leaves you with some sweetness on the palate. Smoothness was good, no coughs or itch on the throat. This also gave me that hurt so good lung expansion. Flavour accuracy from nose to taste was great, you can really taste what you smell. That “cola” esque terp really translated beautifully. Flavour intensity was A1, flavourful and leaves a nice mouth coat. Potency is good, it produces that ‘I’m high’ feeling but it’s not couch locking.

Sherbert - Rosebud

Opening the jar, you get a subtle lingering whiff of sweet ripe citrus. Putting your nose closer to the jar, first initial smell, it’s highly reminiscent of freshly grated ginger. The more you smell the jar the more that citrusy dessert start to show. If you inhale for a long time you start to smell that bright citrus with some gas undertones. Consistency is in between over medium yolk and over hard yolk. It’s jammy but on the stiffer harder side. From nose to taste, your hit with a sweet creamy citrus on the inhale. While on the exhale you get a velvet dough with a hint of mint. Aftertaste was a little lacklustre but there was a hint cannabis kush gas. Smoothness was good, no coughs or itch, but it also did not have that hurt so good lung expansion I was looking for. Flavour accuracy was good, I believe that the nose had more complexity than the taste. Although the citrus terps translated phenomenally. Flavour intensity was up there as well. This gave a mouth stain feeling. Potency was good, this was a night time strain for me, i did not feel that couch locking feeling but it did put me out like a light.

Sour animal - Bridle Farms

Opening the jar, that diesel funk greets your nose from far away. First initial smell, you get more of that pungent diesel gas but it’s accompanied by zesty sour citrus. When you do a deep inhale, you get more citrus but on the somewhat sweeter side. Consistency is reminiscent of a flan dessert. It’s jammy like an over medium egg yolk but it has a honey viscosity. From nose to taste, the inhale had this bright chemical citrus taste. While the exhale had herbal spice. The aftertaste had a little sour mouth coat. Smoothness was good, no coughs or itch on the throat. This gave me a somewhat of a lung expansion but not that hurt so good I was looking for. Flavour accuracy was great, it was very accurate to the nose. While the flavour intensity was also great, from the inhale to the exhale, and even the mouth stain was all very flavourful. Potency was good, this gave me more of a head high. Great for running errands.

Rainbow Runtz - 4.6/5

Opening the vacuum sealed bag, the pungency of the rainbow Runtz was very noticeable, this filled the room with dank gas. First initial smell, your hit with this sweet vanilla baked goods with a hint of gas. Putting the bud closer to the nose, it’s reminiscent of a sugary dough. While when grounded down it switches to a sour zesty play-dough (toy). From nose to taste, you get a very tasty citrus fruit candy sweetness on the inhale, but I also got this fermented zang flavour in some of the joints I rolled up. While on the exhale you get this creamy baked good with some herbal gas on the back end. The aftertaste you get is a herbal earthy dough. Midway through the joint I did encounter a creamy cookie taste but it was not present on all of the joints I’ve smoked. Flavour accuracy was very good, the nose to taste was the same but the taste had more complexity. From beginning to somewhat to the end, the flavour intensity was great. Smoothness was good, no coughs or itch on the throat, while the hurt so good lung expansion was not present. Potency was good, it made me relaxed and loose but it didn’t give me that cough lock effect.

Crepes - 4.7/5

Opening the bag, this too was very pungent. This filled the car up with some dank smell. First initial smell, your nose is hit with creamy vanilla and a sharp fuel gas. Put your nose closer to the bud and a deep inhale you pick up a subtle citrus damp earth. While on the breakdown the citrus fuel is more present. From nose to taste, you get a sweet creamy fruity baked goods on the inhale. While on the exhale you get a diesel fuel pepper gas. And the aftertaste leaves a herbal diesel on the palate. In the beggining the taste was baked goods with a hint of floral, but midway through the joint the fruitiness showed itself. While the diesel fuel started tasting more like citrus cleaning products on the exhale. Flavour accuracy was great. From nose to taste, the flavour was immaculate. The terps were translating beautifully and there I say with some complexities. Smoothness was great, no couch or itch on the throat, and this was more staining on the mouth rather than coating. Potency was good. It did not couch lock me, but it was very relaxing for night time.

Note: The pictures were taken after touchdown, they don’t have air bubbles. After a few minutes the rosin settled and we’re back to normal.

Zkittlez

Opening the packaging the loudness was noticeable, first initial smell your reminded of sweet berries, baked goods and that herbal skunky “cannabis” cart smell. First initial puffs you get that sweet fruit berry candy inhale, while on the exhale you get that citrus cream with herbal gas. While the aftertaste leaves you with sweet herbal kush. Smoothness is good, no coughs or itch on the throat. Lung expansion was non existent. Flavour intensity was good, it needed a few puffs to get the terps to really show. Flavour translation was good, there was no muted taste and the hardware really did justice on this strain. Potency is good, it’s not going to couch lock you, but it’s great for running errands.

Also very pungent, taking the rubber condom off and people around you notice the smell. First initial smell you get a sweet fruit with that dank gas “cannabis” cart smell. On the taste, you get a creamy tropical fruit sweetness on the inhale. While on the exhale citrus herbal botanical gas. The aftertaste leaves a herbal gas and a hint of earth on the palette. Smoothness is good, no coughs or itch on the throat. Lung expansion was there but it was decent, definitely not that hurt so good I was looking for. Flavour intensity was good, it needed a few puffs to get the taste to come out. Flavour translation was good, from nose to taste that candy terps just punches you. Potency is good, it hits a lot better than the Zkittlez but still not couchlock. This is good for running errands.

First initial smell, you get this sweet gassy “cannabis” cart smell, athough it was pretty feint. First rips of the pen, I definitely could taste more of the herbal, floral and the gas of the strain. As you get towards halfway the candy fruit profiles starts to show. You get this citrus candy inhale, while on the exhale you get this creamy baked goods with a hint of herbal gas. While the aftertaste leaves that candy gas on your palette. The hardware starts to clog towards the end. Smoothness is good, no coughs or itch on the throat. The hurt so good lung expansion was not there. Flavour translation is good, the sweet candy is balanced by the gas funk. Flavour accuracy is good, but it was a little muted in my opinion. Potency is not the couchlock type, it’s great for running errands.

In my humblest opinion, the only problem with this cart is the hardware. The ceramic coil is not doing this strain a favor, it’s limiting the potential. Comparing ceramic carts vs glass carts, the flavour intensity and translation is miles better on the glass carts. You’re able to also smell more of the rosin.

Coastal Pink - Elephant Gardens

Opening the bag, pungency was not there. Putting the bud close to your nose, you get a whiff of a sweet pine. If you inhale longer, you start to smell baked goods. When you breakup the bud, that earthy sharp gas hits your nose. From nose to smell, flavour accuracy is great. The first initial burn mostly had sweet with a minuscule hint of florality. The more you puff the more you get that diesel gas inhale, with a sweet creamy exhale. Midway through the joint, the flavour develops into an earthy diesel zest with some herbal on the inhale. As well as a sweet candy with some creamy florality on the exhale. Flavour translation is good, the joint was very flavourful, but it did have that on/off chalky and muted towards the end. But surprisingly, the taste fixed itself. Smoothness was great, no cough or itch on the throat. Potency was also good, it has a relaxed couch lock numb, but it did not hit me like a truck.

Opening the bag, pungency was great. The smell was seeping through when I opened the vac seal and filled the room.
Bud size was super smalls, which I typically don’t care about as long as it’s smoking.
First initial smell, your nose is met with candy tropical berry. Deep inhale and you get that sour citrus, creamy vanilla, and some herbal earth. When you break down the bud, that pungent sharp gas and a little sweetness stands out. From nose to taste, flavour translation and accuracy was great. In the first inhale you get that sweet cream inhale with some fermented herbal diesel exhale but the more you puff the better the complexity gets. Midway through the joint, you get that sweet zesty citrus terps on the inhale. That sharp herbal diesel stands out more on the exhale. Closer to the end was when the chalky flavour starts to show itself. Lung expansion was decent, but it wasn’t the hurt so good type. Potency was great, this gave me that couch lock I was looking for. Smoothness was great, no cough no itch on the throat. I’ve had good experiences with living soil, but this is my first great one.

Bootleg Yellow Zushi - Gasgodz

Opening the bag, pungency was decent. It wasn’t fill the room loud but it was still stinky. Initial smell you get that deep gas diesel with chemical sour lemon. Putting the bud closer to the nose, your hit with sweet candy citrus. And on the breakdown you get pungent diesel gas and the sweet lemons on the undertone. From nose to taste, flavour accuracy is okay. You get that candy citrus fruit sweetness on the inhale and peppery pine gas on the exhale. Midway through the joint the taste becomes a cream citrus with a little sweet on the inhale. Flavour translation could be better. It starts to get chalky and muted halfway through the smoke and becomes terrible at the end. This was very batch dependent, one jar I got performed very well with good terp translation and bone white ash. While the other batch I got burned gray with pepper, and the terps were chalky and muted. Smoothness was good, no coughs or itch during and after the smoke. Potency great, very relaxing but not couch lock numb.

Opening the tube, there’s a pungent aroma that leaks out but it’s not a fill the room type of loud. If you put your nose close you can really smell that citrus peel zest, there’s a hint of candy sweetness and some herbal earth undertones. From nose to taste, flavour accuracy is great. Initial taste, you get that sweet citrus cream inhale and that minty herbal zest exhale. Flavour complexion was great. The more you drag the more flavour comes out. Sweet and cream first then on the next inhale you get zesty candy. When it got to the rosin part, everything leveled up. The sweet fruity candy cream starts to dominate on the inhale, and you get that dominant herbal mint on the exhale. Flavour translation is okay, it did start to get chalky after the halfway mark but it’s on and off. Smoothness was great, no coughs no itch on the throat. That hurt so good lung expansion was there. This also brings forth cotton mouth. Potency was great, couch lock was definitely achieved. Very relaxing and numbing.

Sauce Rosin Labs - Watermelon Hurricane x Papaya

Opening the tube, you get this semi pungent sweet fruit with some diesel gas undertone. From nose to taste it’s very accurate. Artificial fruit candy on inhale, a little reminiscent of the white part of a watermelon but candy. And earth diesel gas on the exhale with a hint of spice. When it hit the rosin part of the joint the fruity candy starts to improve and you get more of cream on the inhale. That peppery spice diesel starts to jump on the exhale. Flavour translation was great, you can differentiate the flower from the rosin but the rosin dominated when they met. The papaya was a pairing for the watermelon hurricane. Smoothness was also great, no coughs or itch on the throat. Potency was good, but for rosin and flower combined I thought it would hit harder.

Opening the bag, pungency was jumping out of the bag. Definitely room filling but in my case it was my car. Initial smell your hit with artificial chemical fruity candy and some fermented diesel undertones. This was addicting to smell. Putting the bud closer to the nose, you get that artificial candy but there’s a hint of baked goods if you inhale a little long. From nose to taste, accuracy was spot on. First initial burn you get that deep spicy pepper gas on the inhale and chemical sweet fruity zesty exhale. Flavour complexion is there, the terps starts to switch the more you drag the joint. Spicy and peppery to candyand citrusy, and then back to spicy and peppery again. Flavour translation is okay, this was a bud dependent bag. Some burned great tasting like the begging to the end, and some were chalky and muted. Hurt so good lung expansion was there and the smoothness was great. Potency is a good, not couch lock but it creeps up on you. Very relaxing but i can still use my brain.

Opening the bag, the pungency did not blow me away. It was loud but not screaming. First impression smells your hit with the citrus fruit with that gas diesel funk. Closer to your nose that sweet dough and garlic diesel terps starts to show. From nose to taste this has good flavour translation, although there’s always room for improvements. You get that creamy citrus gas inhale, and that spicy citrus with earthy diesel exhale. Halfway through the joint, that sweet terps starts to show itself and it steals the show. It does start to get chalky towards the end. Smoothness was great, no cough or itchy throat. Smoking this, you get hit with a mean cotton mouth so keep water close. Potency was great but it wasn’t couch lock great.

Opening the bag, the pungency was screaming. My room was stinking. Your nose is hit with fermented fruit terps with gas fuel undertones. Bringing the bud closer to your nose there’s a hint of sweetness and spice that complements the fermented fruit gas great. From nose to taste, that flavour translation was excellent and the accuracy spot on. The inhale tasted exactly like fermented fruit with diesel gas. And that exhale had that creamy doughy spice fuel. Halfway through the joint that sweet fruit cookie flavour becomes more noticeable and starts to deepen. Flavour does start to get muted towards the very end, but there’s no chalky taste. Smoothness was great, no cough or itch throat after smoking. Potency was great, it almost put me on the couch lock state.

Opening the bag, it was pungent but it wasn’t fill the room loud. First impression smells you get that sweet cookie dough with earthy diesel undertones and a hint of pepper. Closer to the nose it changes to a sweet baked goods smell, and when grinded up it has that sweet diesel funk. (The grind was half dust half half kinetic sand)
From nose to taste the flavour translation was very good, it’s very accurate. The inhale reminds me of sweet baked goods and tropical fruit, and the exhale has that peppery diesel fuel and it has some earthy undertones. The aftertaste reminds me of earthy baked goods. Midway through the joint the sweet baked goods terps steals the spotlight, there was a hint of chalkiness that started to linger but it wasn’t an issue until close to the end. The smoothness of this weed was great, no itch on the throat. This also gave me that hurt so good lung expansion. Potency was great, it didn’t give me couch lock but it was close.

It does start to get that chalk taste after the halfway point, and worse at the end. Smoothness was great, no itch no cough.

Dispensary gave me a 5 month old batch.

Opening the bag the pungency was not good, you really have to put your nose close to the bud to smell anything. That sweet cream floral was still present but very muted, you can also smell that gas funk. From nose to taste, I didn’t have high hopes but it still taste good. You get that spicy creamy inhale and that sweet floral spice that lingers in the mouth. Thats only in the beggining unfortunately, it does start to get that chalk taste the more you puff. Towards the end it’s very muted and just chalk flavour. The bud was somewhat smooth, it does leave an itch on the throat. Potency was the real star of the show, for a 5 month old batch it has a kick to it. I would really love to smoke this when it’s at its peak.

I need to find a fresh/somewhat fresh batch of Tea Time #7, if anyone knows where I could find a jar I would really appreciate it. #weedneedsexpirationdate

Opening the bag, you immediately get hit with that sweet mango fruity smell. You can smell a little floral gas when you put your nose close to the bud. The best way I could describe this smell is those powdered ice tea that you mix with water. It specifically reminds me of the mango flavor for the tang brand. From nose to smell, it could get a lot better. The flavour translation just isn’t there, it feels like a diet version of what it could be. From the first puff you get that mango terp inhale and that earthy floral gas on the exhale. The flavour started to get better halfway through the joint. That super sweet mango terp really shined. Smoothness could be better as it was a little harsh during the smoke. Potency was alright, not good but also not bad. If this strain was done better it could be one of my top 5’s when it comes to terp profiles.

Simple Pleasures - zkittlez x watermelon

Bag opening, the pungency wasn’t there. When you put your nose close to the bud you get that sweet earthy fruit, although there is a hay-ish smell that lingers. As well as being crunchy on the outside and a little sticky on the inside. The buds in this bag were smalls and extra-smalls.
From nose to taste, it’s not that good. From first burn you get that sweet cream candy on the inhale as well as the exhale, but there’s also that earthy gas that follows. The more you puffed the more that chalky taste starts to takeover. Halfway through the joint it was barely any sweet and just pure chalk taste. Smoothness could do alot better, it’s very harsh and it does leave an itch on the throat. (This weed was a year old unfortunately, hopefully I can try a recent batch. Maybe the score can change). Did not finish the joint before it was put out.

This was good but it wasn’t great. Opening the tube there was little to no smell, you really have to put it close to your nose to smell grassy diesel. The roll felt a little loose so I packed it in more. Initial burn was good, there was a very loud diesel tone with a little sweetness on the exhale. The more you puffed the worse the minerality gets. When it got to the rosin the taste was already chalky. The best way to describe it is, the smell and taste of shatter smoked out of 2 knives. There’s a pronounce diesel in there but it gets muted every hit. The chalk overpowers with a lingering grassy taste. Smoothness could be better, it leaves this spicy itch harsh feeling on the throat and the nostrils. The potency was great, it couch locked me, I smoked this with a friend and he was out. The joint canoeing might’ve been user error, but in my defence it was smoked inside the car with the windows up, and it was lit with a perfect cherry using a torch lighter, I even waited 10 seconds before the succc.

Opening the bag, it immediately fills the room with loud gas. The smell is a very loud fermented fruit with some grape-ish diesel funk. Nose to taste translation did not disappoint. You can really taste that fruit fermentation with the spicy diesel terps. Most joints usually get chalky and muted during the end, but this never lost the flavour even adding a hint of sweetness at the end. It’s not my favourite terp profile but it how it performed negates that.
The smoothness of the burn was A1, not a cough or an itch on the throat. Flavour was accurate and flavourful with terp complexity that’s hard to describe but you’ll understand when you try this strain. The potency was decent but it’s still good, it just didn’t knock me off my feet.

Very pungent, I opened it and it filled the room. Smell wise, it has that creamy candy sweet with that gas undertone. Flavour translation from nose to taste was great, you can really taste that sweet cream (pause),
its candy leaning but that gassiness comes out on the exhale. The flavour was amazing on the first half of the joint while it gave some chalky taste after the other half. Potency was good but it wasn’t great either. I deducted a 0.1 for the seed.

Initial smell is the spicy earth terps from the black rose, you can smell a little sweetness on the breakdown. This batch was dry for me, it grinded like dust while I’m looking for the kinetic sand texture.

Smoothness could be better, it leaves a little itch on the throat. Flavour translation is good, the taste is mandarin sunset leaning with the sweet orange peel zest terps. Purity could be better, it has a hint of chalk that gets worse through the duration of the smoke.

This burned extremely smooth, not a single cough was produced. From the nose the terps were jumping out, citrus diesel with a sweet pine undertone, but the diesel gas really stands out. The translation from the smell to the taste was great, the sweet diesel on the inhale and a creamy gas mouth coat. All the terps were translating well with very minimal chalk taste. Flavour intensity was good on the beginning but the taste gets muted towards the end with some mineral background taste. This is a great strain if you want to taste something complex with great combustion. Very sticky I had to wear gloves for the breakdown.
