Hello!

I bought my first Vespa and promptly lost the rear wheel. Now I’m going through and repairing everything that was damaged, and I realized the hub seal was also damaged when the wheel came off.

My question: does the picture show it installed correctly?

I’ve worked on cars for a long time and I would consider that installed backwards. However, this is definitely not a car so I want to be sure. The service information I have tells me to note the seal’s orientation but does not provide a picture or an explanation. Parts explosions I have found have also been unhelpful.
