Went in for a Henry, left with a Savage
I've been wanting a .22 with a threaded barrel as a suppressor host for a while but the only option was the Henry Frontier with its ridiculous 24" barrel. Found out they recently just came out with their H1 line with 16" and 18" barrels. Went into my LGS to check them out but the finish on the receiver was just subpar and overall just felt like a toy gun. The built in pic rail on a lever gun just looked goofy too. Saw this Savage Revel DLX on the wall and just surpassed everything about the Henry (way better finish, smoother action, and just looked way better than the Henry in my opinion). Being able to take it down with just 2 pins like an AR is a plus too. Overall, super happy with this purchase. It's super fun with a suppressor (as with any 22). Only thing I've changed are the sights. Might add sling mounts later on.
