Are 30mm tires on this 2016 carbon fibre frame a bad idea?

Just installed 30mm tires in my 2016 Trek Emonda. As you may know, older road bike frame were designed with skinnier tires in mind (<28mm). I’m enjoying the ride a lot more. However, not sure if the wider diameter could become a problem with the thin gap to frame. So far no issues while riding.

What do you guys think? What risks am I exposing myself and my bike frame to?

Gildan Activewear stock falls after short seller report

Anyone following this story? I always thought of Gildan as a solid boring long term investment. Not sure what this report means at this stage.

what it’s a good way to no longer be a landlord ?

i’ve been a landlord for about six years to the same tenants. they rent the house i mortgage. relationship with tenants pretty good, i’d say. rent increases about 2% per year, but still below market. i just know at some point i’m going to stop wanting to be a landlord. what would be a respectful, fair way of letting my tenants know? i’m thinking i would give them a year’s notice. i would want to renovate before selling then.

how do ya’ll feel about abandoned bikes?

<rant> While I love seeing bikes, whether moving or parked, it really bothers me to see abandoned bikes that have been locked in place for months or even years. You can tell it’s been abandoned from how little air there is in the tires. And seeing the same bike everyday walking by it. Valuable parking space wasted. Valuable bikes rotting. It’s such a shame. </rant>
