I am putting some miles on my friend’s mare, Pearl. First ride ever off property, and my first real ride in my new (to me) saddle. I can get photos of the saddle on her if needed on Monday probably but these are the sweat marks from the ride. I am going to try and get a saddle fitter out but this isn’t my horse or property to make decisions on stuff like that. Owner is getting a chiropractor out soonish so I don’t see a saddle fitter being out of the question.

I’m not really sure what i’m looking at here to be honest. I thought he was stamping his foot down but I kind of hear a bit of a wheeze I think? I’m in the middle of moving apartments right now so I honestly haven’t been by much more than to keep them fed/watered and cleaned. He has since stopped but probably did it for over 5 minutes
