[WTS] [WTT] Roland TR8-S excellent condition for $550 or Digitakt II + cash [Buffalo NY]

Hi, I have an excellent condition TR-8s by Roland. No original box but it will be packed very carefully. It's basically a TR-1000 but smaller and doesn't have the analog features... however the ACB modeling is so good I never noticed. It's a workhorse drum machine and has barely gotten any use by me. I will sell it for $550 SHIPPED or I'd be interested in trading it plus some cash on my end for a Digitakt II, possibly a Syntakt or Tonverk. DM me, let's discuss.

I don't have any feedback on this sub bc I deleted my account a while back bc I was using Reddit ALL DAY. In a fit of rage, I deleted my old username (snailed, same as it is on Modwiggler) and didn't realize I couldn't re-activate. I have great feedback from some users on here, just not on this sub. [WTS] ROLI Seaboard RISE 2 - like new, no box, price is $900 SHIPPED [Buffalo, NY]

REDUCED TO $800. I can't edit the post. Yes, that's right, I'm selling the $1399 retail (plus tax + shipping) ROLI Seaboard RISE 2 (newest model with USB C and the TRS MIDI output, etc) for $800 shipped to your door as long as you're in the CONUS. I would say it is in "excellent" condition, but I don't have the original box. It would be packed carefully. I will transfer the hardware license to you digitally through ROLI support, as I have done before with previous gear. If you want it, I will include the Equator 2 software for an additional fee/you paying for shipping/etc. It's really great MPE software so I'm hesitant to let it go.

I am Modwiggler user snailed, and I deleted my Reddit account a while back because i was spending too much time on here. I thought I could re-activate it but I can't. Anyway, I had a bunch of karma on this sub but now I don't have any, but I do have references and you can search my name on the Modwiggler forum "good traders thread" too.

I am *heavily* discounting the ROLI because it has sat unsold for a while now, and I really don't have the room for it. I have other MPE controllers and it's just sitting unused. Make me an offer on it! I'm looking for stereo analog filters in Eurorack, Euro modulation sources, perhaps an Elektron machine like Digitakt II or Tonverk, but really I mostly need the cash, so ideally this would be a straight up cash deal.

What's your current approach to mixing and recording with Eurorack?

I've been through so many iterations of my recording, at home, hybrid setup and my live setup. I'm looking to see what others are doing to see if I can get any ideas, but I'll share my journey here...

I started with the SSF Vortices, when I barely had any modules compared to what I have now. I still have one, the OG with the saturation. I use it as a submixer for drums currently. I had an ES9 at one point and used that extensively with a MIDI controller but I sold it to fund getting the ES10 and the Ableton Push I talk about below.

I have a WMD Performance Mixer mk2 which I beta tested for so I've had it for quite a while now. It is the heart of my setup, and I've struggled with using it live and getting spoiled by my use of it in the studio lol. It's just a little too big to comfortably sit in my live case, and until I can afford TWO of them, it's a huge pain in the ass moving it from the at-home hybrid setup to my live case.

The WMD PMmk2 usually sits at home in a 104hp PODx coupled with 2x DB25 expanders into a Motu 24ai to record multitracked into the DAW. I also have the PM Channels expander for 4 extra stereo channels and they are hooked into the DB25's. So I have direct post or pre fader inputs from each separate channel. I also have a feed from the main outs of the PM so I can use the Returns expander and practice my live set going out to a stereo pair.

In my live setup, 104hp Intellijel Performance Case, I use an Ableton Push 3 and ES10 to interface with the modular. I mostly control the levels on the Push, so that has solved needing to move the mixer back and forth into the case. Still, I miss having that hands-on control.

I have thought about just integrating the PM Channels expander (which can run on its own without the main unit) into my live case with the Returns expander. Unfortunately, I have a pre-production unit from beta testing that doesn't have the connection to put the Returns expander on it.

Any thoughts? I am blessed to have enough of this stuff for this to be a problem, but I am constantly trying to figure out better ways to manage these two setups. Any thoughts or ideas, or sharing of your own setup, is appreciated!
