So i really want to find a good romance anime, i havent really dipped to much into the genre because I find a lot of them tend to have a lot of weird shit going on in them that I personally am not a fan of, im just honestly really picky when it comes to stuff in this genre but im a sucker for a good romance story so if anyone has any recs that arent harem or anything super sexual and weird thatd be great.

Side note: i actually really liked behind the supermarket smoking cigarettes with you and re:zero(if you wanna even call that a romance) if that helps

So ive had my snake skooma for about 4 months now amd everything so far is going pretty well, hes eating well and hes got his enclosure all set up nice and with proper humidity but the issue im running into is i still think hes pretty warry of me and my issue is id really like to have a choice based relationship with him i really care about him and dont want to force him to do anything that he doesnt want to do, he spends most of his time just hanging in his hide sometimes poking his head out and I dont wanna just grab him out from somewhere that he feels comfortable, that being said i think me not really handling him that much in turn has made it so he is still unsure about how safe I am and Id really like to change that in the best way I can, any help on how I can do this would be greatly appreciated!

This is a topic I always get into arguments with my mother about considering shes pretty religious where as I am not really super into spirituality and as im going to school to study biology and animal sciences this is a big topic of interest for me so im just curious what others thought on the subject are.
