So I joined the club by accident while thrifting recently. Best I can tell this is a circa 1979ish Professional. It is missing the grate for the drip tray but otherwise seems to be relatively intact? I am of course researching other similar posts on this sub, but would love any tips to get this beauty up and running.

I am particularly interested in cleaning tips, and info regarding power/wiring and the boiler? I have seen that some folks replace/modify the heating element, is that required/recommended? Also I am located in Canada, do I need to purchase a voltage adapter to operate the machine here?
