If you have been following my posts you probably are already familiar with my story. I won't go into it on this post but I am happy to report that 2 days after contacting my local Congressman's office SSA is finally releasing the final part of my back pay with SSDI. It is a true blessing.

I contacted my local congressman Tuesday to see if they could help me get the rest of my backpay. I received roughly half of what's owed to me the other half I was told is been held to determine how much they want to pay my attorney. My attorney initially submitted a fee agreement for 2K now they want 13K. My question is for those that had to go that route to get their back pay fully release how long did it take for the congressman or woman to get back to you once you submitted your inquiry and how long was the total process until you got your entire back pay. I was approved almost 9 months ago. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
