Tips on recovering from an injury?

I recently fucked around and found out - went from lazily lifting .5-1x per week to overexerting myself daily and stopped eating, which in turn caused me to stop sleeping - and ended up pinching a nerve or injuring myself in a way that caused sudden symptoms of a herniated neck disc. After a full day it's improved by 50%, and I'm crossing my fingers it's not a real disc

I plan to take a break from exercise for a week, then maybe book a few appointments with a physical therapist to make a plan because I'm scared of going back to working out incorrectly and relapsing. I began lifting on my own without any guidance so maybe they could give me some advice on how to do it properly this time around. In the meantime, any advice on what kind of movement I should be doing?

It's been a week since I started Invisalign and after looking through this sub, I realized my ortho never asked me for input into what I want my teeth to look like at the end of treatment. I want to make specific requests and not just do what they have planned for me obviously.

My next appointment is due in 2 months so I'll have to call them earlier. Can I still make changes to my plan, and would I need to pay more in order to make those adjustments? I'm so mad they never asked me for my thoughts.

A few days ago I attempted a handstand for the first time and practiced holding them for 20 seconds at a time over the span of half an hour. Halfway through I started feeling this tight ring around the middle of my forehead that felt almost like the beginning of a migraine. I figured it was the blood pressure whiplash and started lifting my head up slower after my handstands. The pain didn't worsen and went away after the gym so I thought nothing of it. Then two days later the outer corner of my eye started feeling sore, and I woke up the next morning feeling like I got punched there. I can only assume I popped a blood vessel. I'm kind of disturbed that this happened just from me attempting to do a handstand. Should I be worried?

How long should I wait before doing a handstand again? Any tips for preventing this?
