I recently got the Switch bundle for Galaxy 1 & 2 and have absolutely been loving it. However there are a couple things that didnt sit right with me, and some others that have pleased me quite well.

Source: I've been playing both games since I was a wee kid back in the 2010s and both games are some of my all time faves.

Some things I've noticed is the autosave prompt is gone in Galaxy 2, which I like, and they completely wiped out the option to save in Galaxy 1, which is a HUGE plus.

They however added a new sequence/new sound effects for when Mario leaves the dome he's in to head to a Galaxy in the first game, which I recognized instantly and it threw me off to be honest.

I also like that the cutscenes are enhanced and the black borders are gone from those as well.

The font. That damn font. At first it didn't sit right with me but I've started to ignore it, which is fine I guess.

Another thing about the games (especially Galaxy 2) is I wish they added more controls to D pad. For example, looking at the Star List and instead of using the joystick you could use the D pad to scroll through teh different domes/worlds. It's such a workout for my fingers 🤣

So my opinion is that they're still great games with great enhancements but with some changes audibly and visually that I'll definitely have to get accustomed to soon.
