I know that the market has cooled a lot in the Austin metro area. Would like to hear recent FSBO seller experience in the area, as I'm thinking of selling a 3/2 SFR in a suburb right outside Austin.

Were you able to sell close to the appraised value?

For older homes who haven't replaced their roof and HVAC since they were built in the 80s, do you have to offer concessions or discounts for these items to be replaced?

I received several calls from this guy who left this message on my voicemail:

This is location specialist Mike Mason calling you today in reference to your pending claim Now by law I have to make you aware that once this claim is filed It will become public record both your name and your social are affiliated with this claim You need to contact the filing party directly before I appear at your home and job with your documents the filing partys phone number is xxx

I don't have any pending claims. Has anyone received similar calls? Are these scams?
