Looking for a little guidance
Recently I have been treated for b12 and D deficiencies. I have been on this process for about 4 months now and it seems that my body is responding well and absorbing the injections of b12 and the high dose vitamin D. However this has uncovered an issue with my iron as well. First initial bloodwork saturation was 15, iron 55, TIBC 360, ferritin 74. RBC 5.02, HGB 13.9.
I have read that when correcting a b12 or D deficiency, it sometimes tanks iron and ferritin.
Repeat bloodwork after 4 months is vit D 37 (still low but improving), B12 406, iron 41, TIBC 346, iron sat 12, ferritin 54. Again, this is after supplementing vitamin D and b12 injections.
I have no idea what the issue is with saturation. I have symptoms like muscle weakness and racing heart randomly and exercise intolerance at times.
My doctor really does not seem concerned with the saturation and states she thinks this is because there is no demand in my body at this time. I do not understand what this means.
Any help is appreciated.

Results for my grandma- she’s 101 years old!
Very happy she agreed to complete the test!
Her results are cool to see, and definitely line up with family stories and research. Her great grandparents were born in Ireland we think, and probably cork county. :)
