There should be a show where Dishwashers compete. Could call it Top Dish.

Theres something so satisfying about taking years upon years of baked on grease off the bottoms of a set of frying pans.

There was a time where i was experimenting with all kinds of different dish washing tools.

i found that pumice stone blocks are great for this purpose cause you can break them into nice peices that are perfect for scrubbing pan undersides.

Ive also used carborundum sponges for polishing, and lots of barkeepers friend.

To perfect them i found several different small metal and plastic detailing scrapers to get in the crevices.

And of course a hot washer to loosen it up a bit during the process and lots and lots of elbow grease.

These pans had been neglected here for many many years and i was happy to refresh them, and tbh i relished the activity.

Replace your prerinser spray face and save a ton of work by making the water pressure do the scrubbing

These are really affordable online, they cost maybe $10. They're plastic replaceable faces that screw on with one screw and come off easily to change out and its important to know they go dull by the abrasive wear of the water so then the efficiency suffers over time. When i changed both faces on the prerinsers where i work immediately everyone in the building could tell there was a huge difference in flow and scraping power, and the owners liked it too and i got a free lunch to make up what i paid out of pocket.

*There are several different flow rates available using different size and arrangement of spray holes so look at your prerinser closely to find which you need for your application
