Mukbang is an oversized Yoyo based on a fan favorite design from 2018 called "Snack".

Snack was an undersized pocket YoYo, which is normally a novelty design. But Snack was known for its amazing stability and maneuverability for being undersized, which carried over into the full size model.

I am always proud of the YoYos Recess makes, but this one makes me especially excited for the playability and lineage. The shape references many of my favorite yoyos from years past (Buzzon Rogue, YYJ Black Knight, CLYW Bear Vs Man), a very unique profile in todays V-Shaped dominated market. But design cues like the profile step and more even weight distribution, brings Mukbang up to standards that modern tricks demand.

Caps are a timeless YoYo design element, going back to Duncan Butterflies and Wheels.

They add a solid feeling to your YoYo while it’s waiting to be thrown, and as you’re catching it. You feel more evenly distributed momentum during play. Making many capped YoYos have the famous “floaty” feeling designers chase.

Capped YoYos are the antithesis of competitive design.

- The Switch Hitter comes in two varieties : Plastic POM Caps, or Metal Caps -

The Plastic Caps are classic YoYo nostalgia. Beautiful opaque color and the encompassing soft touch that comes with a fully plastic yoyo. It has a substantial, and stable feel because POM is a molecularly denser plastic versus poly carbonate. But it is also very laid-back. The YoYo you take to the park / beach / bar when you just want to noodle around some of your auto-pilot combos.

The Metal Caps bring a more serious, intentional feel, to an otherwise very relaxed play experience. Although adding only 1 gram of total weight to the YoYo, because it is placed on the most outer-lying point of the design, it creates an entirely different play experience.

All Switch Hitter bodies are machined out of POM plastic for a classic toy feel - with the precision concentricity that comes with machining a YoYo.

Always amazing seeing Yoyo performers do their sets - even more amazing to see it in front of 1500 screaming wrestling fans - Ayumu Harada from CLYW and Takumi Yasumoto from YoYoRec do a pretty incredible routine in front of a sizable audience - that offstring throw would be tough to execute with out 3000 eyes watching you - was incredible to see in person!
