Hi guys, I've wanted to share something unusual that happened in my aquarium last November.

Among my other fish, I have a few Molinesias, black and gold.

And one day, I noticed a very tiny baby entering and leaving my side-sump. I was surprised, first because I thought I had only female ones. But then I learned about the shape of their tails and turns out I had a male molinesia black among them.

That explained why this happened.

But I was and still am, amazed by the fact that, usually when fish "give birth" it's not just ONE unity of fish that comes out, right? I've read somewhere that about 70 of them come out.

So the fact that 1 survived (and today she is a girl all grown up) still makes me wonder about the odds.

Ps: I didn't take a picture of her grown-up because it's late and I couldn't get a clear shot of the aquarium at the moment.

Pessoal, tem dicas e críticas construtivas de como melhorar a estética do meu aquário?

Tô achando que não tá mais bonito e vivido como quando montei ele.

ps: sei que preciso podar as plantas mas tô protelando isso há tempos.

Tenho um aquário de 150 litros e toda noite os caramujos saem e fazem a festa e infestam meu aquário.

Eu já passei noites matando mais de 200 caramujos (sim eu contei 1 por 1)

Eu tentei adicionar mocinhas, tentei aqueles produtos de pet shop, tentei salgar a água como alguns tutoriais mandam. Nada resolve. Eles sempre voltam e se reproduzem.

Como eu faço pra me livrar de todos de uma vez por todas?

I got him almost 3 full days ago.

he is probably around 6 month to the pet shop.

He hasn't eaten or drunk anything.

I feel he's getting weak and I'm getting worried the more the time goes by.

I have another 6 years-old-female-tiel but I'm keeping them separate for quarantine.

Is there anything I can do?

He's also very aggressive.

UPDATE: I've successfully made him eat some seeds, egg, and toasted bread (all of them the vet told it was OK to offer) and he seems a little better.

How? I showed him my other cockatiel, he went crazy, he was so sad and downbeat, then he just lighted up. I know I'm not supposed to put them together cause of quarantine. So i didn't actually put them together, just stayed in front of the cage with her on my shoulder, but it worked.
