THRIFT OF THE CENTURY

THRIFT OF THE CENTURY

STORY TIME!!

I went thrifting at a more upscale boutique with a friend. I tried on a tank top, didn't love it. Friend tried on two pairs of pants: one camo, one "regular." I looked at some of the camo pants too. Two caught my eye. Friend tried on pants, bought both. I made a comment that Hayley just wore a pair of camo pants on tour recently. Thoughtless comment.

Upon wearing them later to dinner, and googling images of Hayley's camo pants, turns out THEY'RE THE SAME FUCKING PANTS. SAME BRAND. NOT HER PANTS. BUT THE SAME PANTS. I'M FUCKING DYING. PRESTIGE TACTICAL WEAR.

I googled MULTIPLE photos of this concert of hers, they are definitely the same brand/style of pants. The first thing that caught my eye was the "ribbon" at the ankles, it was the same. Then I looked at the pockets/buttons/stitching/construction and started screaming because I BOUGHT THE SAME PANTS AS HAYLEY WILLIAMS

I FEEL LIKE THE COOLEST HUMAN EVER!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for coming to my ted talk!!!!!!

ISO explanation for odd behavior

I was at the strongsville mall at hooley pub a while ago. 3 guys, adults from what I could tell, dressed in all black, hoodies up, black medical masks, and backpacks come in and attempt to sell candy to the patrons of the bar. Obviously the bartenders and managers asked them to leave.

I’m just curious of what kind of scheme this was as it was super suspicious and didn’t seem to be about candy at all.

looking for this serif font with a specific style "a" and "s"

https://preview.redd.it/wahdeecrx97h1.png?width=497&format=png&auto=webp&s=70a93f8708f13de83d65b3803d9b37f8ba226b63

I could have sworn this was an adobe font. The closest I've been able to find is Filosofia, but the lowercase "a" isn't quite right. I haven't been able to find it with adobe's font finder or what the font. I've looked at my whole font library. This is from a time where I didn't save a copy of the text not outlined... please help!

How to recreate this plastic piece for a bass guitar?

The screw holes are still there so I could measure and recreate the necessary artwork for the shape, holes, and text, but would need to figure out how to get this produced.

3D printing would probably suffice but any other recommendations for a more sophisticated finished product?
