The Undercroft boards

At my many attempts at bombing undercroft, I just realized some have ancient magic symbol in it. Idk if this is a template board used in any other areas too. But it's cute to think either MC use it for herself or they tried to explained the magic and what she sees to Sebastian and Ominis when they hangout there.

Heaven legacy

What a glitch, it happens some more at my gameplay, the treasure cave throws me some PTSD of extreme flashbang.

Ominis is still a bad friend...

I know this is not an underrated take or smthn, but people are so so quick to divide the duo to white and black. Even though Ominis's character shows that it can't be like that. He's a morality compass to the extreme because of trauma. (This gonna be a long paragraph, bear with me)🐻

There's a reason why Sebastian keep doing things behind his back even though they're best friends since they came to hogwarts, Ominis won't listen to him. He doesn't want to hear Sebastian's explanation and doesn't want to engage to his discovery because of a tight white moral he has. It's like a boomer seeing teenager have tatoos and cigarettes.

Ominis is a very tragic character, yes, but he's also privileged. He's like, the top of the top for how much connection he has just by living as a gaunt. It destroys his childhood but he's still living in some advantages.

Ominis does care for Seb but Sebastian needs more than just a moral compass, he knows it's bad in people's eyes and hoping someone would understand him and when he saw mc didn't judge him for it, he used them unintentionally out of desperation. No one listen to him, not even Ominis, no one care for his beliefs, they left him alone with all that wild thoughts.

Ominis is ruling, not guiding his friend. They're so dysfunctional in many ways but they've been managing it to work for years, until the trio becomes a duo.

What makes me think he's so ignorant sometimes is when he caught us with the relic. I thought he will do anything to have sebastian leave the dark arts but all I take from his words are "I don't want to be blamed for doing the bad things because I already promised to be good", MC catches on very fast then come the imperio suggestion. Ominis hates his family and their beliefs, tried so hard to rebel and separate himself from them he looks at the world in black and white. Dark arts are bad, anyone who endulge in dark arts are bad. He doesn't want to be one of them.

So he tried to shut Sebastian's interest in it, thinking he's helping without trying to understand why Sebastian started to look onto dark arts as a solution. Sebastian is never heard for things he is ambitious for, we do see him tried to re-think the use of the relic when MC said they need to fight inferi to get in, just for Solomon to barge in and again, never listen. Both Solomon and Ominis have the same traits to shut Sebastian down on his ideas when it doesn't resonate with their beliefs, see where I came from?

It's weird when people say Ominis is right, Sebastian is wrong, or Omi deserve a better friend because in actuality they're a bad friend for e/o when real matters come to the picture. What Ominis said are logically right, it's basic understanding, when you cross to the dark side you won't get as much as you give. But Sebastian is willing to give as much to get what he wants, I think at that point, they never come to an agreement even in possibilities.

Do anyone knows who is this specific npc?

I have met NPCs that lurking around so late at night (sometimes Sebastian in DADA castle), but this guy didn't even spend it inside. Just chilling right in front of the entrance, so far away from dorm you would think he's homeless or smthn. He's also spendin' it doing things, one after another, does bro hv anxiety from sleeping or sumn?

I wonder if anyone knew or have their own hc/stories for this guy? I wanna hear it

I hate inferi I hate inferi I so hate inferi

I HATE INFERI SO MUCH.

Those wriggling undead crawling to get to you and the cranky noise really make me shivers and my skin crawl.

The moment I stumbled upon a pile of skeletons in the forbidden forest and it shows blue accent when revelio casted meaning either I have to use it, or it will be something.

Me when moving bones and skulls: "Please don't come alive, please don't come alive, please don't come alive"

*looks back* *is alive*

Me: *immediately pause the game* *sigh*

I fear inferio like people who fears on spiders, I don't mind crawling spiders, but when a was a person that's not supposed to move is moving. I fear inferi like people who have arachnophobia fears spiders, so maybe I have inferiphobia.💀

Oh well, I'm sure hoping there won't be a quest that have a whole inferi spawned and ganged up on me... right?

(Oh who am I kidding)

Opinion on Sebastian and Ominis's friendship after the quest?

Now this what have been bugging me after finishing the Shadows quest and main story quest is that we don't have any scene with them together anymore.

Granted, if we do snitch on Sebastian away, he'll be no longer seen like Ominis said but I was talking for the route where we don't turn him in. There's couple dialogues with mc sure, but we also got no closure on their friendship. Did Ominis give him a silent treatment for couple of days? Or did he already accept him for who he is and go back as friends even though it's not the same, what's the aftermath for them??

We know their friendship has already crumbling when Sebastian insist on diving into dark arts, now that things has happened. What goes for them after that?

Lucan Brattleby Appreciation Post!!

When people talking about underrated NPC in HL and I'm here sitting with my duel club manager in his early year at Hogwarts 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️

>!I didn't expect that face at all when Sebastian told me to meet him for duelling club ,either way I was hoping for more info about him while playing but completely bummed when there's none. He's the only one who looks properly young from all the male NPCs we met lol!<

Who's your fav underrated non-major NPC in the game?

If I remember correctly, using unforgivable curses will chip away your soul, bending your heart to the dark path before you even realize it was too late (like how sebastian did), but since there's so limited information on ancient magic. Is there any possibility that those who wield ancient magic is immune to dark arts effect since they hold on the very purest form of magic (whilst dark arts and other magic is the sub-division of it)?

I wanna hear people thoughts on this one since It's been days since I'm stuck thinking of this theory.
