Added some Hogwarts Legacy flair to my Ravenclaw themed bedroom

I reconstructed the Ravenclaw common room rug and the prefect bathroom mermaid from in-game textures in photoshop, then had them both custom printed for my space.

Can we just be an actual student for once?

I love the games but I'm tired of them being so linear. Mystery and Legacy have been the best at combating that problems but both fall short for what could be the best HP series game ever.

I just want to be a student at hogwarts, going to classes, exploring all the secrets, a buddy system, and maybe have a career choice as endgame content all in an open 3d world.

Is Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition worth buying on Switch?

Hey everyone, the title probably gives away what I want to ask. Since the deluxe version is $10.50 on the eShop, it seems like an incredibly good deal to pass up. However, my fear is that, being an open-world game, and many games of this style ultimately end up being empty worlds with simple and repetitive missions, it might leave a bad taste in my mouth when I finish it, or that I won't want to replay it.

I've been looking for reviews and videos that give me the pros and cons to help me decide, but so far I'm even more undecided. I think that not being a Harry Potter fan is putting me at a disadvantage, but there's another factor: most of the games I buy are also for my wife. We both share a Switch, and while I have two or three games of my own, she has two of hers. We're evenly matched, and when it comes to expensive purchases or really good deals, we both argue about whether to buy them or not. Honestly, neither of us knows what to do. We're curious about the game, but like me, she's afraid she'll get bored if it's too repetitive.

If you could give us honest opinions about the game, not as fans of the Harry Potter series, but as gamers, we would really appreciate it. Another factor is that my wife has only been playing with the Switch for a year, so she's very new to it. This could be her first open-world game, and in my case, my third, but I'm not a big fan of these games.

Sorry for my English, it's not my native language and I can't write it well, which is why I'm using a translator. So please excuse me if I haven't explained my questions clearly. I hope I've at least written them decently.

Geforce Now - Tips on graphics

Hey you guys!

Today I started testing another cloud gaming app, and it plays the PC (linking my Epic Games account) version of HL.
I have made some adjustments to play with all graphics on Ultra, but it still stutters when mc moves. Anyone here plays in GFN and would share your graphics settings to help me set mine?

Thank yall for your attention.

Sebastian Sallows Relationship Line

The last quest isn't triggering for me. I've already completed the main storyline and post game quest and nothing appears. I've done ever side quest possible and I only need this one. I checked and made sure if I've miss anything, but I don't know what I could possibly be missing. It could be a glitch maybe?? I've just been doing all the merlin trails, field guides and ancient magic hotspot hoping it would appear, but nothing. Can anyone help?

Best Hogwarts Legacy Mod List for Immersion and Roleplay in 2026

I love Bethesda games (Daggerfall, Morrowind, Skyrim), and from the moment I learned about Hogwarts Legacy mods, I wanted to recreate the same immersive qualities and freedom as those games. Simply put, a way to live life as a student at Hogwarts while downplaying the main story, or skipping it entirely. While we’re not 100% there yet, I’ve put together a mod list which gets us very close to that goal, and has totally changed the way I play the game.

I have all the mods on this list enabled for my current playthrough (unless otherwise noted), so I’ve verified they are compatible with one other. Most can be installed in the official in-game mod menu, with the exception of a couple multiplayer mods and a nexus mod which I will note below. There are a lot of great cosmetic mods out there, but I have chosen not to include them with this guide, as I will be focusing on gameplay/mechanics enhancements.

Core

  • NPC Schedule Enhanced – Adds realistic NPC schedules: students and professors go to classes, dinner, their common rooms, Hogsmeade on weekends, and vendors close their shops at night.
  • House Point System – Brings daily homework and a House Point System to the game, rewarding or deducting points based on assignments and dialogue choices.
  • Night Curfew – Prefects roam the halls at night and will bust you if you're caught after hours, essential for immersion.
  • Sleep Mod – Adds a day/night cycle and requires you to sleep every day or suffer debuffs, making your dorm bed meaningful.
  • No Level Requirements – Removes level requirements from all quests, letting you start any quest at any level.
  • Time Dilator – Speeds up or slows down the in‑game clock so you can enjoy exploration at your own pace.
  • Azkaban – Makes Azkaban a real place where you can be incarcerated for using Unforgivable Curses.
  • Sonorus – Lets you talk to any named character using their original voice; NPCs are context‑aware and can see what you see. Note: Nexus mod, but works with all others and has a one‑click installer.
  • Floo Companions – Summon friends to go on adventures with you, adding a core roleplay feature missing from the base game.
  • Emote with any NPC – Allows you to sleep in beds, eat at tables, and emote with NPCs, vital for roleplay and immersion.
  • Dual Dresser – Saves outfits and swaps them automatically when you enter or exit the castle.
  • First Person – Adds a togglable first‑person mode, perfect for roaming the castle.
  • Stand Up Straight – Removes the awful crouched‑over fighting pose your character defaults to when standing.
  • Character Editor – A robust character appearance editor that can be used at any time in game.

Inventory/RoR

Gameplay/Other

  • Hogwarts Ultimate - Gameplay Overhaul – An all‑in‑one difficulty overhaul that rebalances economy, enemy damage, potion times, and spawn rates.
  • Spells Enhanced - New Spells - With Talents – Adds 20 new spells (teleportation, AoE attacks, enemy spells) with talent upgrades.
  • Dekita Battle Pets – Customizable pet companions that follow you, gain experience, learn skills, and help you fight.
  • Troll in the Dungeon – Adds a chance for a troll to spawn somewhere in Hogwarts every five minutes.
  • Casual NPCs – Changes student outfits to more casual, custom‑designed styles.
  • The Arena – Battle through 12 waves of enemies with roguelike modifiers that increase difficulty and loot.

Multiplayer

  • Wizarding Academy RP – A roleplay framework that turns Hogwarts Legacy into a living multiplayer world with classes, events, and shared stories. This is a public RP server based on the HogWarp mod listed below.
  • HogWarp – A multiplayer framework for playing Hogwarts Legacy online with others, focusing on co‑op and roleplay.

Honorable Mentions

  • Class System – Adds 28 quest‑based classes across five subjects with a homework and detention system. This mod looks absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, it hasn't been ported to the in-game mode menu due to a bug in the Creator Kit.
  • MimicChest – Gives opening loot containers a chance to spawn a hostile creature, balancing risk and reward. I'm eager to try this out, but haven't installed it yet, so I can't verify it plays well with my other recommended mods.
  • Alohomora Auto Solve / Skip Alohomora / Open All Locks – Either adds an auto‑solve button or completely skips the Alohomora mini‑game. Many people love these mods, so I wanted to include them. I haven't personally used them (yet) so I can't vouch for them.
  • Auto Season – Automatically matches the in‑game season to the in‑game month, so Halloween and Christmas decorations appear on time. This is an essential mod. However, the House Point System mod includes this functionality, so you only need one of them installed.
  • Autoloot – Automatically collects nearby loot when you walk close, saving you from manual rummaging. A lot of people enjoy this, so I included the mod here, but I personally don't use it.
  • Spells & Talents – Introduces 7 new spells (e.g., Tarantallegra, Aguamenti) plus 29 new talent perks. Another very popular favorite worth mentioning.
  • Immersive NPC Combat – Makes almost every named character targetable and reactive, allowing them to fight enemies (load AFTER Floo Companions, before Night Curfew). Unfortunately, this mod will soft lock you at certain points in the game which makes it too broken for me to recommend. It's an amazing concept though, and I hope it gets fixed in future updates.

That's it for now! Let me know if I missed any of your favorite mods for immersion. The Hogwarts Legacy modding community is alive and thriving, and I'm excited to see whats to come in the near future 🙏

Am I going insane, or is Revelio's range bigger..?

Played through the game about 2 years ago, but started a new playthrough today. I instantly felt like Revelio was way more distracting than I remembered — like every time I cast it I'm seeing loot and collectibles from like 2 floors away...

Am I just misremembering..? No mods or anything, either.

Unmarked/Secret locations in Hogwarts Legacy or just design?

I just zoomed out the map all the way just to see if i missed something exploring and saw these 2 areas off to the side. At first I assumed that it was just a stylistic choice but then quickly realized that no other part of the map that is not part of the playable area has this shading. This shading is specific to unexplored playable regions of the map. But I see no roads, tunnels, pathways, or even Floo flame symbols to get there? Is this just a glitch or some kind of mystery/easter egg situation?
