I've been mulling it over and have finally decided I want to take the Wiki under my wing and update it with missing information. My main focus is the Riptide portion, as that's the only campaign I've finished in its entirety. I'm not sure what the status of the other campaign pages is, but Riptide is missing so. much. info. I've seen some comments thrown around on here, tiktok, instagram, wherever I see JRWI content about how the Wiki is pretty abandoned. Even the recent episodes are constantly at a "WIP" stage.

When I've been making edits as of late I've seen KayzoStim still updating it here and there, but I haven't noticed any other consistent usernames updating things. I'm guessing they're really the only person who still does it from time to time.

As for the transcriptions, I know a bunch of the earlier episodes have them, and for the more recent episodes there are the official transcriptions that come from the production team. There's a bunch of episodes from around the middle of the campaign that are lacking a transcription, and the team who used to make it have seemingly disbanded. If anyone is up to taking this big task alongside me, I'd be so grateful. (a 2-hour episode is usually about 200 pages of text.)

I'd love help considering this is a HUGE project and it's definitely more than just a few stragglers can handle. I've only done the Hole in the Sea Oneshot and planned to just follow the campaign chronologically as I update. I've also added minor info for new characters or things from recent episodes but haven't worked on those pages much at all.

I just realized I’ve been running around with the starter gear horseshoes on accident. When I buy a new horse and I start riding it, I always put the “Your own handmade horseshoes” set on them and then toss the starter gear ones in my inventory. I also have this issue with the game where it tends to double click cosmetics when I’m just trying to drag something (not sure if this is a common bug or if it’s just my computer, I don’t play often anymore but this doesn’t happen on other games.)

I’ve looked at all the horses I’m sure I rode recently and their inventories are empty. My guess is when swapping horseshoes, my game switched the ones equipped back to my starter gear and I accidentally threw out the handmade ones, and I wouldn’t have known the difference since the game doesn’t label what you’re throwing away and all the horseshoe icons are the same.

Is there ANY WAY I can get these ones back?? I know it’s a little silly but I always have the handmade ones equipped on the horse I’m riding, I think it just makes me nostalgic for the game’s prime or something. I do have a few of the Master Blacksmith horseshoes equipped on my favorite horses but it’s just not the same. I know that might sound dumb

First off, one of my favorite episodes of the entire campaign. Chip’s speech to Gill at the end was amazing, I felt so emotional listening to it. Bizly’s amazing when it comes to these serious moments and I love it.

I’m so lost on how Gillion lost his paladin abilities though. For the most part, I listen to the podcast while I’m driving so some details get lost to me because I’m focused on the road. Did Gill lose these when he broke his oath in 116, or afterward? Based on the conversations with Celeste I’m assuming it was prior to the Undersea arc but I’m not 100% sure when. I wish the wiki was updated more frequently for answers like these but I know that’s a big ask.

(Side note, does anyone know who does the transcriptions that are linked to the episode’s wiki pages? Whenever I do a rewatch of Riptide I want to update things that are missing from the wiki/missing transcriptions)

I’m not sure how long Androids have had the reaction feature, but I know Apple has had it for a while. I rarely use them in general, but it doesn’t really bother me when others do. Probably a year ago is when my mom discovered that if you hold down on a text, you can react with whatever emoji you want, and now it’s cross-platform.

I moved hours away from my family, so we all text pretty frequently so they can let me know what’s up in their lives. With everyone else, I get responses. With my mom, I don’t anymore.

It started with a thumbs up to simple things, like a “Got back home after being out late” text. But over time it’s become the only way she “responds.” I could probably text her that I got into a terrible car crash and am en route to the emergency room and I’d get a “😢” reaction back. No actual response. I’ll ask about something I saw happening in my hometown. “👍” I can’t have real conversations with her anymore. Our entire message history is my green messages with an emoji in the top left corner of it.

It’s not just me she does this to. If I’m visiting and I see my dad’s message history with my mom, it’s him asking about groceries and getting a thumbs up back. If I see her screen when she’s texting her friends all she does is shoot back a reaction. My sister and I have complained about this with each other enough.

I think she thinks it’s a nice way of letting people know she saw their message and she’s not ignoring them, but it’s frustrating when she just won’t communicate people with anymore.
