I just got a Nintendo Switch 2 and want to play It Takes Two with a friend. Since the console only comes with the default Joy-Con 2 set and the game requires two full controller setups, I need a second controller.

I have a spare original Nintendo Switch Pro Controller from the first generation lying around. Will the Switch 2 let me pair and use this older Pro Controller alongside the new Joy-Cons for local co-op?
