saw a screenshot floating around claiming rockstar's newswire and their x account confirmed the next trailer drops thursday aug 27 at 3pm et, exclusively on netflix first. supposedly youtube and the official site dont get it until 6 hours later that same night. kinda wild that youd need an active netflix account just to catch a gta trailer live, thats never been a thing before right. anyone else seen this or have a link confirming the exact times?

been trying to work out what im actually playing this on in november and the maths just got worse. checked the store earlier and the series x is $799.99 now, it was $649.99 before saturday. third increase since may 2025 and easily the steepest. the reason microsoft gave is the part that stuck with me, storage and memory have gone up more than 2.5x because ai data centers are buying everything, and they expect that to double again by late 2027. so this probably isnt the last one. im now genuinely unsure whether people on older hardware end up priced out of playing this thing at launch, or whether we get supply problems this winter on top of it. what are you all doing, upgrading before november or just running it on whatever you already have?

saw this screenshot floating around, a basque union rep at rockstar named nestor uriarte says that for the first time in the company's history they're actually getting paid for overtime. some folks are calling it a real win after all the crunch stories over the years, others think its just damage control timed right before gta6 launches and right after the october layoffs. is this an actual shift in how rockstar treats people or just good pr timing before the game drops, what do you all think?

saw this screenshot floating around and had to double check it was real. rockstar's own support page says the ps5 physical edition is just a box with a redeem code, no disc, and that code only works in the region you bought it in. xbox has literally zero restriction like that. anyone who was planning to import a cheaper copy now kinda screwed?

saw this going around, basically saying that with only 4 months left we still have zero actual gameplay, no online pricing and no pc release date, just the two cinematic trailers and some screenshots. article frames it like rockstar is deliberately sitting on info this late in the game. i kinda think its bs since they did the exact same thing before rdr2 and gta5 dropped, but the no gameplay part this close to launch does feel a little weird ngl. anyone else worried or is this just standard rockstar secrecy at this point?

saw this screenshotted on some gta site earlier, apparently he's had to correct it twice now because the 90% was about his confidence in the november 19 date, not the game being nearly finished. one camp says it barely matters since the date is the only thing anyone actually cares about, the other says it's a huge difference because half the internet was reading it as rockstar being basically done and that's a completely different picture of where dev is at. which is it for you, does the correction actually move your expectations or is this just people arguing about wording again?

saw this on some fan site earlier and screenshotted it. basically a dataminer went through the xbox store backend and instead of one product there's four distinct entitlements listed, story, ultimate edition, vintage pack and the online part sitting on its own, which is exactly how gta online ended up being its own separate download last gen. couple of X accounts found it first and then someone else expanded on it, so it's not just one random guy making it up, but i can't verify any of it myself. anyone here able to pull up the store page and confirm the entitlements are actually split like that?

found this on some gta site, apparently she updated her resume with an untitled rockstar project she filmed mocap for back in feb 2025, playing multiple characters under an nda. the fact it says several characters has me thinking the cast is way bigger than we assumed. what does one actress doing multiple roles even mean for the story?

Hello everyone, as you may already know, on 15 June Anthropic is releasing an update that will phase out all autonomous multi-agent systems, such as OpenClaw and Hermes Agent... I’m currently testing Paperclip and am very pleased with the results, but in a few days’ time I’m not sure how I can continue using it with my subscription. Despite having Max (5x) and receiving $100 a month to spend on autonomous systems, I don’t think that covers even a quarter of what the subscription offers. I’d appreciate hearing what alternatives you’re using or what I can do in this situation
