Shopping haul: migraineur's edition
Starting Qulipta today and lowkey buzzing with excitement!
Botox treatment did help in a way, but only with pain intensity (from 8-9/10 down to 2-4/10) and in consequence I had to take less painkillers which was necessary to rule out medication overuse as cause. Frequency of attacks stayed the same though and with less pain the other symptoms became more prominent or more noticeable idk.
Before botox, I considered myself very lucky for never having experienced any migraine related nausea and only getting slightly more light and sound sensitive than I already am by AuDHD default.
The past 9 months with botox though, ugh. They taught me what it means to hide under 3 blankets, crying, blindfolded, unable to wear noise cancelling headphones because the pressure is intolerable and to nauseous to move, speak, think, or even drink water.
So now, Qulipta. Fingers crossed!
