Cousin’s beloved dog - color advice?
I was obv afraid to go darker, any color suggestions/feedback? Also I only had the day to work on it, so I know it could be better likeness-wise. I used some ultramarine, moonglow, crimson and (regrettably) opera pink. The browns were a mix of quin gold and cheaper burnt umber, vandyke brown. I added the background because I couldn’t figure out an other way of showing the whiskers without doing a real background, and now it’s grown on my in spite of not really helping that cause.
