I'm moving to CU in a few days and I'm looking for a new hair stylist. I'm not really interested in barbershops that mostly use machines for speed - I prefer scissor cuts and would like to work with someone that understands my type of hair and I'm willing to pay for that level of service. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!
I hear that it is open to the community on Monday and Wednesdays each week. Is this still true? When do sessions kick off? I would love to attend some sessions to keep up on my draftsmanship. Look forward to learning more about it.
I'm moving to Urbana this September from Rochester, NY. I wanted to see if there are photographers using film in the area, if there are businesses that develop/scan film, and if there are any places where you can rent a darkroom by the hour or take lessons in film photography. I'm not a student, so I'm only looking for facilities I can actually access.

My wife and I are moving to Urbana Champaign later this year from Rochester, NY. We are working professionals (not students) and won't have any connection to the University of Illinois work-wise. In Rochester there are a number of rehearsal spaces and artist studio spaces available for rent. I was wondering if UC had anything like this as I like having a separate space to get me out of the house and connect with other musicians and artists. I tried searching online and nothing really came up. Any help is greatly appreciated.
