TLDR: I did the mod, and it works
I bit the bullet in last year's heat wave and got a portable single hose unit.
This year's heatwave was worse and really highlighted the issue with these single hoses.
It blows cold air, but the moment it stops i'm instantly warm in bed.
3D printing and a bit of tape + a cardboard window kit, and voila the physics works.
Last upgrade will be a custom perspex sheet on the window, anyone tried it?
