We had always discussed about kids, and she seemed onboard with it, but had some reservations about the toll it "might" take.

Finally yesterday we had a clear chat and she said she right now doesn't want kids, and she can't promise if she will in future. but she might.

She knows it's an important thing to me. I'm completely at a loss.
I do love her, but i think in a few years when she would actually declare she in fact doesn't want them, that will make me resent her.

anyone been through this? how did it turn out?

were you able to work it out? did it eventually break you apart?

edit: she is saying, she is afraid of the hormonal changes and the toll pregnancy takes, not like she doesn't like kids
