A Redraw on my own original devil arm rebellious Revelations

  1. When I was redrawing this, I wanted to make it feel a little more closer to what would appear in actual Devil May Cry game instead of making it look like it came from a different game series.

  2. I wanted RR to look more like a design between the DMC2 Rebellion and the DMC3 in-game Rebellion with a bit of DSD and a bit of organic flare to RR

  3. Since you're wondering why the wings disappear on the perfected reforged it's actually a sign of it acceptance by removing the ability of advance flight of normal Devil trigger reverting it back to gliding and whoever accepted a part of them they never accepted, can activate & accurately control their perfected Devil Trigger form going out of control & perfected DT is basically the in-between normal Devil Trigger and Sin Devil Trigger

  4. Abilities are quite simple they're same as Rebellion's & fun fact I didn't even know this until I was rewatching the 07 DMC anime. Rebellion can actually seal portals, but back to I was saying Rebellious Revelations doesn't unite human and devil but unlocking the potential of one by accepting a despised part of one's self. & Prior to one's accepting of oneself they get a bonus to their DT by having advanced flight kind of like the flight Jewel from DMC2.

  5. And if y'all wondering what's the difference between neutral and charge, it's basically how much energy is stored be it through passive demonic energy going into it or by absorbing attacks & turning it into energy what happens when you're getting into more energy basically makes every swing or overdrive more Strong/Powerful & at max every swing sends out energy slashs kind of like energy slashs from Sparda DT from DMC1.

My take on the Stylish Devil hunter from DMC Dante(DMC3)

1.the coat is a mix of the DMC3, DMC Netflix & the dmc1 novel coat (& fun fact Dante doesn't wear His famous coat that He wears in DMC1 until near the end after he gets defeated by Gilver)

2.and you might be wondering why I gave Him a dress shirt it's not just because it's a nod to Netflix DMC but also not to have I would take the relationship between Dante and Nall Goldstein being that Dante sees Nall Goldstein as a Mother Figure & Nall scolding Dante for

"not having a decency for wearing a shirt at least can you zip up your coat Boy"- Nall Goldstein.

(And I hated how they didn't give her much of a character or anything just there to give Ebony and Ivory to Dante & don't get me started on the the decharacterization of lucia/Chi)

  1. Also I give them a variety of leggings from classic dmc3 cargo pants to the jeans in DMC Netflix well making an in-between version where he has cargo chaps over jeans.

My take on DMC's Virgil the wandering will Ronin with a hunger for Power Devil trigger & the crimson doppelganger

1.Vergil's devil was an interesting experience to draw and to have the patterns from his coat on his devil trigger but wasn't exactly easy to draw either.

2.The crimson doppelganger was an easy color edit but doing it on his Devil trigger was a different story especially trying to get most of the types of red to mach along with trying to make it its own thing.

  1. I always think of the red Vergel boss from vergil's gameplay in DMC 3 special edition to be a demonic metal illusion of Nelo Angelo/gilver to taunt Vergel in his mind when he was in the armor of Nelo Angelo during the events of DMC 1 & when Vergil beats the crimson double the 3rd time that's when he somewhat Broke free from the armor in the 3rd Nelo Angelo fight in DMC1 & that's when he actually fights dante still under the influence of the remaining armor on his body and what he sees & what illusions the armor makes blurs, like in visions of V when he(V) sees dante(DMC1) with rebellion instead of Alastor.

and be honest I like to make theories that gives some narrative explanation to why & when this happens like in visions of V DMC 1 Dante having rebellion is probably a nod to the 07 DMC anime were he fights phantom with rebellion in the intro.

My take on the Electrifying Devil Arms of DMC: Devil Arms Alastor and Devil Arms Nevan.

1.Alastor is simple I want to keep the silhouette someone to the original while adding my style like how the skulls for the hilt, fused Together unlike the original word it looks identical to Force edges.

2.naven was an interesting experience to draw mainly so to the frustrating lack of references and naven is my favorite devil arm in DMC 3 so I really was going down without a fight so I turned to the revolt tech dmc3 Dante's nevan and the 1/6 DMC3 dante's Nevan

3.I give nevan some way of realistically plucking the electric strings with out getting shocked by Nevan by simply give whoever wields some claws that act like guitar picks for & protection from nevan & the idea of the claw's was from DMC peak of combat Nevan's tiara/headwear.

The Twin Hand Guns ebony & Ivory and Luce & Ombra made from the Goldstein's for Tony Redgrave

I simply use the m1911 as a base thin used Luce & ombra as a reference and extend the barrel thin draw another version that becomes ebony & Ivory.

& Side theory: if the "for Tony Redgrave" on Luce and Ombra is not the game developers being lazy by copy and pasting it but being intentional, then it would mean that Sparda for a time went under the alias Tony Redgrave and thin later on Eva gives Dante his father's old Alias of Tony Redgrave to honor Sparda.

My updated take on the sword that can fuse Man and Devil DMC's Rebellion

I have been looking back at my previous works and wanted to do draw them again with the new skills that I learned and using the original & old take of the sword as a base and with a bit more 2007 anime rebellion & with a bit of stylization to it while still being faithful

And just like my old take I made two versions manly on the blade one is more DMC 5&2 while the other blade is more based off at the 2007 anime along with DMC 3 and 4 with the bit of DMC 5 and 2 in it.

My Take on DMC: The wandering Ronin with a hunger for Power, A Son of Sparda, Vergil (DMC 4-3)

  1. For Vergil's design I combined the coats of DMC 4(it may look identical to his coat in dmc3 but the button's on the arms of the coat are bigger as the coat it self is a tad bit bulky) and DMC 3 & Netflix's & i give settle Foreshadowing with in the detail inside his coat.

  2. I give buttons a similar design to what i did for Dante's coat of the Sun & Moon and I made several variants of the detailing on his coat ranging from classic, to silver & Gold.

  3. Vergil's hair is both the easiest yet difficult of the whole design I took inspiration from his DMC 1 Concept art were he had long slicked backed Hair.

4.his vast & pants are kind of easy & also I always was under the impression that his are made from demon hide/skin.

  1. Give him some demonic traits basically give him a sudo devil bringer(it's basically how Vergil hide's Yamato in public without raising suspicion like how dante hides rebellion in a getor case & if someone is walking around in a cloak and has a katana that would raise suspicion, and this came from nero since how he got his devil bringer was from an injury & if the visions of V were tailing the actual events of that fateful day thin why didn't Vergil get any demonic traits from the demonic jumping?

My take on the reaper sword Vendetta & dantes Dreadnought form

I always think that how dante got his Dreadnought form from vendetta & if you really think about it it's basically the closest to an Dante Angleo

Vendetta's design was already all right all I did was just add a bit more detail like the base of the sword is rough and cut it like it was carved out of a wall of raw metal and the handle was speared through the base of the lump of steel that is the blade of Vendetta but if you really think about it it's just a detailed lump of steel that sharpened

And Dread not it was hard to find a reference photo for the actual armor from the side so I had to improvise and had to use other references of different armors that are similar and also I thought of a nice little addition being a cape of blood red darkness similar to the cape that a cavalier Angelo had but this one is a dark blood red pulsating with the energy that Dante is producing as the armor has that look of a fire inside violently pulsate through the armor and that fire won't just die.

And also I thought of the corpse were Dante gets Vendetta from is a demon Knight that Arius wanted to clone but stopped and I mean there are literal test tubes with demonic fetuses next to the corpse in the game.

My take on Vergil's mirage Edge/summon sword's and a new sword type Devil Arms.

1:Mirage Edge was easy to do basically use force edge turn it sky blue and add some effect

2: Devil Arms an interesting sword to draw I had two mine references which is Crados normal sword that he uses in human form the second is Gabriel the judge of hell/the apostle of hatred twin swords from ultra kill I may have leaned too much into Gabe's swords in the design while adding The dmc2 amulet piece onto it while going crazy into detail on the sheath.

My take on DMC's Uchigatana that cuts through space and which bears the name of the demon of death, Yamato

I just basically draw Yamato but combining it's looks and appearances from DMC 3-5 with a bit of dmc1 and giving the handle some dragon scale detailing while also using blade references from the actual type of katana that Yamato was based off of the Uchigatana.

My take on Arius's Hand Cannon Revolver With some new & old gun's.

1:Arius's Revolver was the most easy yet difficult original I was going to draw his revolver until I realized it was made up of different revolvers as if it was custom made I decided to change the type of revolver from the usual side cylinder to top break while keeping it look from the game.

2: Luci & Lil are custom twin Beretta M93r's with custom arts of m1911's reminiscent of Ebony and Ivory with wood grips with two different colored gems and if you look closely you can see a photo of what appears to be a woman holding her infant child... Luci & Lil are made by Rock Goldstein from the request of Tony Redgrave (Dante)

3: the 12mm-blitz-viper or the otherwise known as the Blitz-viper is an assault rifle chambered in 12mm rounds with wooden stock and a squared grip the gun it self is an homage to the infamous Thompson submachine gun.

The machine gun I dubbed the Blitz-viper is a gun from DMC1's concept art from when they were getting the ideas for the arsenal of the game.

I used every design of Devil Sword Sparda/Force Edge from the franchise as reference & had to go through some some images on muscle anatomy.

And side note the swords are not in scale & Boy it was... I don't even know how to describe it on the organic side on the sword.
