My partner and are are travelling to Sydney in early October and had planned to see a musical that got cancelled on one of the nights so now we need to find something else to do.

Any suggestions regarding nice dinners, shows, or places to see that will keep up entertained for a few hours on a thursday night will be much appreciated! We're staying in the city but happy to travel. I've been to Sydney quite a few times so we're not really interested in real touristy things, more just after a nice dinner or experience.

Just wondering if anyone could suggest any reasons why my health care card application got denied? Centerlink said they'd send me a letter explaining but I'm spiralling now and just want to know why.

Context -

My concession card got cancelled after I cancelled my jobseeker payments (no longer needed payment) which I didn't realise would happen because the notification was vague read I might still be able to use it if I didn't earn too much. I applied for a low income health care card as soon as that happened since I earn just under the threshold and can't afford my medications or appointments without the concession prices or safety net. After a month of waiting and rationing some of my medications and putting off appointments, it got rejected.

I'm chronically ill and have a lot of scans and appointments I need done in the next two months that I was putting off until I got my card. But now that its been rejected I won't be able to afford them and I'm freaking out.

Any one have any clue as to why this has happened and what I can do about it??
