Tried doing a bit of research and couldn't find anything. I always thought the mortar goes on the wall and the tile. Looking at the last course added I can see voids behind the tile. Is this fine?
Brian Germain came up in a different thread, and it got me thinking. He used to (maybe still does?) manufacture canopies with a weird air lock thing. Was wondering if anyone jumped them before? Always wondered what they flew like.
Firstly, this sculpture project has been in the works since at least 2022, so it's a bit late to be upset about it.
Secondly, to those claiming the city should have spent this money on more pressing matters: the funds were allocated in a bill in 2018 that voters approved of specifically for 40/Salem parkway improvements. All together around a 100 million bill of which only around 1 million was spent on the sculpture.
Also, though this is just my opinion, the city of arts and innovation should have art and innovation clearly visible and present.
