Should I be worried about the aleks exam if I want to take calc 1?

Hi!! I’m hoping to take calculus down the road, and im a little scared for the aleks assessment lol. I’ve taken precalc but I as a junior and finished with like a 93 I believe, then this year I took ap stat (I really regret not taking ap calc but I thought id be going down a different path). I’m worried I won’t remember much of the content on the assessment since it’s been a minute. Ik you get 3 attempts I just really don’t want to have to do more than 2 lol

Considering major in bio, biochem, or chem - how difficult are the reqs?

Hello!! I’m an incoming freshman currently undeclared in dietrich. I’m going to wait one or two terms to declare but the majors I mentioned are the ones im interested in as of right now. I’ve taken 7 aps so im going to enter with a few gen ed reqs and I’ll probably have some space to take a few other classes pertaining to my interests. How bad is say physics 1, or I guess the more intermediate classes since I already have a 5 on ap bio? I’m worried the difficulty of some of the science classes will scare me off from my interests 😭
