So lesson learned, never take your idi to a mechanic shop jo matter how burnt out you are. They said they had to do a little bending to get the new hardlines to fit properly... a little bending? No way in hell the dampened clamps are ever fitting on that rats nest. Hald of them are BACKWARDS! Can't even install my banks air intake because they routed one of the lines directly over the mounting brackets. Guess I won't ever make that mistake again, stupid me.

7.3 idi fuel issues

So I have a 1993 f350 with a 7.3 idi and a db2 injection pump and I have a leak on the #2 injector hardline on the pump side. This all happened after a long battle of replacing the injectors and fuel return lines and caps, after I got all that done and back to daily driving it started bogging down hard at low rpm, idling pretty rough, and that hardline fitting started leaking. After everything I did recently in a moment of weakness I had the truck sent to a local shop to fix the leak and they claim the leak is coming from the injection pump not the fitting and that they cranked the fitting down and couldn't get it to stop. Should I order new hardlines and wee if that fixes it or is the fitting on the pump itself replaceable? Need some help here.
