I just watched "A child of my own" and I don't know how to feel

I really don't know how to feel about this documentary. I of course I'm saddened by how greatly the societal pressures put upon Alejandra are evident in what she believed was expected of her but the dramatisation and romanticised nature of this documentary confused me.

First part of the documentary presents one side of this story and I feel fails to present us the other side to match. It seems the director's emotional bias infused the film and I feel forced to solely sympathise with Alejandra and just reckon with the facts and their loose ends. This was heartbreaking. It feels mishandled and insensitive honestly 💔

I feel wrong for thinking this but I don't know. Thoughts?
