Microsoft’s newest India datacenter region goes live to power the country’s AI economy and enable Frontier Firms

I guess this answers the question why Rezolve has so many engineers located in India.

Why is NLM Photonics and their product Selerion barely discussed as competitor?

I stumbled across LWLG by coincidence and I've been reading alot about this company and their produkt perkamine. I checked their website, their presentations, the news and obviously also r/lwlg which is a really nice collection of info.

While it is certain that companies like GlobalFoundries, Marvell, Tower Semi, Nvidia etc... yes, basically any company which has the engineering and capability to implement the tech to cater the market's needs will benefit, basically a safe bet.

For EOP's I found Selerion made by NLM as competitor, which has collaborations with:

  • Tower Semiconductor - validated SOH on PH18M platform
  • GlobalFoundries - taped out second-generation 1.6T and 3.2T SOH PICs
  • Advanced Micro Foundry - demonstration of Selerion HTX integration
  • AIM Photonics - currently SOH integration and working towards PDK for AIM's 300mm platform

Their website's timeline also shows for 2025:

So the question I have for which I couldnt find an answer or something that leads to a trend towards on the one or the other are:

  • What are the chances LWLGs Perkamine and Selerion can coexist (e.g. different use-cases)?
  • What are the chances Perkamine or Selerion will be the definitiv industrial standard?

What are your thoughts to bet on LWLG and why has the upper hand?
