Hey all,

Like the title says. I have been editing with premiere for many years now and suddenly it seems to have become unusable.

I started a new project, load my footage and when i do the program just completely locks. It freezes and doesn’t respond. When it seems back to normal and i click my mouse it freezes again. Absolutely unusable.

Im using a HP victus:
Intel i7-13620
16GB Ram
Nvidia Geforce 4070
Editing from external ssd

I know 32GB is recommended but this problem happend so abruptly i cant imagine that’s the problem.
