Anyone remember this ancient relic?
Lifetime membership dues paid in full 💅
Can't wait to rock this on the tour (might give me a rash though but worth it)

A single page of our history...
I'm gonna keep
All the letters you wrote to me 💌
I don't know where we're going
I can't read our fate in the stars ✨
I don't know where we're headed
So just know you're still in my heart ❤️
One of the best she's ever written. Shout-out to all the brave hearts out there 🫶
Seems like the docuseries is still on, and/or we're getting a concert film!
Saw this in another sub and thought it'd be fun...Which Hilary song(s) make you feel like this?
Energetic 🤩
In love 🥰
Hopeful 🙏
Sad 😢
Nostalgic ⌛
Thoughtful 🤔
Naughty 😈
Cringe 🤡
I continue to be floored at the massive renaissance we're having with Hilary the singer and all the fans showing up for her. I hope she never stops creating!
>Aging gracefully in pop music doesn’t always come across as graceful, yet Hilary Duff hit the sweet spot with her sixth studio album “Luck… or Something.” The project arrived nearly a decade after 2015’s “Breathe In. Breathe Out.” that featured the (sorely underrated) single “Sparks,” a slick dance-pop banger ripe for the moment but perhaps wrong for the artist. “Luck… or Something” reframes Duff as a pensive, introspective pop artisan who trades bombast for perspective, whether its singing to her younger self on “Mature” or talking shit with a friend over orange wine on “Growing Up.” Duff worked with husband Matthew Koma for the entirety of the record, a synergy that plays to Duff’s strengths — vocals that land like fists on a pillow — while giving them the space to flourish. With “Luck,” Duff has fully shaken off the Disney cobwebs, free to show the world who she’s become. —Steven J. Horowitz
Snatched this idea from another sub since I found it interesting! Are there any similar lyrics or overall themes she's covered in her music over the years? Even 2 different songs covering similar territory count imo.
I think the most rich and obvious example is how she LOVES a heart motif (let me know if I missed any!):
In my heart I know what this is - What Dreams Are Made Of
Instead of listening to your heart, you do just what you're told - Why Not
Be true to yourself and follow your heart - Someone's Watching Over Me
Beat Of My Heart
Break My Heart
Brave Heart
Rebel Hearts
You make my heart go... - Sparks
Hurting hearts go wild - Stay In Love
Beating hearts screaming out loud - Tattoo
Let our hearts cross the line - Picture This
Gotta get it while our hearts are young - Chasing the Sun
X marks the spot where we left our hearts - Breathe In. Breathe Out.
I know in my heart that this has gone too far - Lies
I can feel my heartbeat, electric to my fingertips - Night Like This
This Heart (leaked album/song)
The Lucky Me Tour is the sixth concert tour by Hilary Duff and her first in 19 years. The tour commenced on June 21, 2026, in West Palm Beach, United States, and will conclude on February 13, 2027, in Mexico City, Mexico
What are some pop girl album covers that share ...familiarities with each other?
Hearing Breathe On. Breathe Out.'s live debut has been amazing. She clearly has love for this album despite how it unfolded, and I hope we get to hear more of it as she never got the opportunity to tour it despite her initial intentions to.
It's truly a special record and was such a gift for fans back in 2015 (we were kind of in the trenches...you know who you are)
I'm so happy that Sparks and BIBO (song) are getting love on the setlist. Would love to hear bangers like:
One In A Million
Confetti
Lies
My Kind (loved this on SRBN)
Plus:
Tattoo (apparently this + All About You will debut live soon)
Brave Heart
Now don't even get me started on Dignity....
I'm absolutely astounded at how incredibly vulnerable and honest this album is. It has a sort of dreamy aesthetic connective thread throughout, but still built around pop hooks that grab you. Some of the lyrical content is heartbreaking and even intentionally polarizing at times (back of the dive bar...) which is refreshingly daring for a Hilary record that I honestly never expected to hear. The tracklist flows perfectly with no skips too, imo.
Some standout lyrics:
From "We Don't Talk":
Emotional eviction
No more sentimental overlap

From "Roommates":
Maybe like the stars at noon
You won't come out until you're ready
But here I am telling you
Don't put off the night too long

From "The Optimist":
I know a dirty little magic trick
To disappear and disconnect
Maybe I learned it from the best
Thank you, I guess
If you saw it I bet I'd earn your respect

From "Adult Size Medium":
I'm waking up to a dream sequence
Sometimes I can't see "me" in it
Was any of it worth it after all?
Is my reflection someone else's I stole?

New to this sub but just wanted to drop in on this historic day to say how amazing it is she's back, and about to kick off a (basically sold out) WORLD TOUR ❤️
The drought was tough and at times I thought she was completely done singing, but she came back with so much to say with her best body of work (imo). I can't wait for her to bring it to life on a big stage for her tour comeback 19 years later.
I know for many of you she may have been your very first concert, which is such a special badge she wears. You've grown and lived so much life since then so I hope your show feels like a celebration of that journey and how you always chose to Fly, despite whatever hardships along the way.
To those going tonight, I know you'll make sure to love her, love her, feed the flame! She's with you for the night, and takin you takin you high....okay okay I'll stop, have the best time! 🫶
