Wet carpet after driving through waterlogging – Altroz iCNG
Hey guys, need some advice.
I have a 2024 Tata Altroz iCNG. Recently drove through a waterlogged stretch. The water level wasn’t high enough to enter through the doors, so I thought everything was fine.
Later, I noticed that the carpet underneath the floor mats is wet, mainly on the left side.
Left front + rear: quite wet
Right side: slightly wet
The floor mat itself is mostly fine; the carpet underneath is wet
The area near the door is actually dry
Seems like water may have seeped up from underneath the car, rather than coming in through the doors.
Has anyone else faced this with an Altroz, especially after driving through waterlogging?
Any idea where the water could be getting in from — floor plugs, drain points, AC drain, underbody, etc.?
Trying to figure out what to check before I head to the service centre. Would appreciate any suggestions/experiences.
