Stream deck as gift for Ableton user?
My Nephew is currently in an undergrad music producing program. I'm looking to get him a gift, and looking at the Elgato stream decks that have dials. He works mostly in the pop genre.

I was hoping to get some feedback about how practical it would be to have this as a gift for someone who produces music on Ableton. How useful are these for a music producer using Ableton?
Also, if it is useful, is the more expensive XL version (36 buttons + 6 knobs) provide enough of an improved experience to justify the price jump? I can spend up to 350 US dollars.
Lastly, if this ain't a good gift, have any other ideas?
